This is absolutely one of our favourites of the jam. We love doing madlibs together and it always makes us laugh. This was like high pressure madlibs and it worked so well. Would love to see how this could become a more fleshed out game with some kind of storyline where Ollie ends up becoming a famous standup and getting his own sitcom. We'd wishlist it in an instant! :)

What do you call a Zesty Unicorn? A Beaver

This is one of the most unique and special ideas for the theme of this year's game jam!! Really the art is so beautiful, the tutorial and presentation is so straightforward, and it is very fun (and funny) to play .Keep up the good work! (Consider having a look at my game and giving your opinion about it if you want to)

One of my favourite entries so far! Just gorgeous and hilarious (intentionally I'm sure).

What's organic and rotten? Stuff.

S-Tier comedy. Nice jam entry :)

Weirdest game of cards against humanity I’ve ever played

oh my english is too bad for this, but i'm sure its better for english speaking folks. Really liked the intro and how Yasmin looks at Ollie while talking. It's really adorable. Thank you for submitting this! Great job!

It's interesting even If I could not go far with the language barrier. But I really liked the concept.

A very interesting joke-making simulator. Unfortunately, my English isn't great, so the language barrier keeps me from fully enjoying the game for now, but I really liked the core idea and the mechanics through which it's implemented. I was also really pleased with the visual style and character design, paired with great sound and pleasant music. An excellent project that has real potential to be developed even after the jam.

I thought that my jokes would leave them BEMused since they were pretty out there, turns out they were out of this world.

All puns aside, I loved the concept, the art and the music!

Loved this idea and execution, the art is gorgeous, the gameplay loop is really creative, great timer visualization especially, I feel like the scoring can feel a bit random, but overall great stuff.

I love madlibs and this kinda scratched that itch. I don't quite understand the scoring though. My best joke had 2 "uhh"s in it.

Fantastic idea, well executed. 5 stars  (I'm terrible at it).

This is such an impressive game (the anxiety i felt was REAL). Cute concept and cute execution!! Awesome!!

This is so fun! I wonder how the code decides if a joke is funny or not, but this just feels really organic and really fun to play

I have to be honest, this is one of the most original ideas I've tried so far. I think it gives the perfect anxiety of thinking of a joke on your feet: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it's so silly that is funny! Loved the artwork, the comics and the tutorial are short and informative as they should for a jam. 5/5 Great job!!

I really love the graphic style and the gameplay! A truly original idea well done, mate!

Really like the art and music! The characters are great

I loved the idea and art style, and the audio was so on point too. Wasn't too sure how the scoring would work since I could just put in seemingly random words as long as they fit the colors and I could still get some points, but I did manage to get "What do you get when you cross an avocado and a bear? A turtle!" which I thought was funny.

Thanks for playing (and for sharing the funny joke)! Very happy to hear you enjoyed the concept, art and audio :) The scoring is mostly punishing if you don't put in a word but aside from that we tried to skew towards the game being easier rather than harder for a game jam.

Very cute, I love how yasmin's compliment is literally etched on ollie's brain. I like how there isn't a huge punishment for not coming up with a good joke and you can just kinda roll with it, but I also feel like I had enough time to put at least a LITTLE thought into making something good. "A hamburger just like a drink, it's fancy and combines"

Thank you for playing! For a game jam we tried to air more on the easier side, our original version was quite difficult (scoring was punishing) so we made jokes more balanced. I'm very glad you noticed the touch on Yasmin being in Ollie's brain :) That is a pretty good joke!

"what is deadly and complicated? Caviar"

I loved it, the concept is so creative, and I loved the little comic at the begining! You even had time to make a tutorial :0 Well done!

Thank you for playing (and for sharing your joke)! It was a stretch at the last minute but I wanted to include some story about how they ended up at the comedy club ^_^ We also really wanted to do a tutorial to ease players in to the game.
