Very cool game! Hearing a voice say "so easy" while i was hopping along on the floor trying to figure out the controls was a bizarre experience lol. The controls felt pretty fluid once I got used to them, though sometimes it was pretty hard to predict what would happen when holding using the spacebar (would my character run on the wall, would i just fall down, how far would i launch off the wall, etc). I wasn't very good at this, I don't play many 3D parkour/platforming games, but I thought this was a neat game. Definitely a cool character controller, felt very satisfying when I managed to chain a good number of jumps and moves together to fly through the map. Good work!
It was great but I couldn't figure out where to go next after climbing for a bit. And I didn't understand how to wall jump as everytime I tried it would send me flying in a direction I didn't want
Had a lot of fun once I got in the zone. Controls felt very fluid.
Well the controls are fun and also have a good feeling but it's so hard to understand when I can clim or jump? Like, one time I climb, another time I jump, another time I jump back? I've also have some freeze during gameplay (maybe of the procedural generation?). I don't think a procedural generation is a nice thing for a game about speedrunning. I prefer hand building level designed FOR this movement instead of "nice, I this time I have a better way that last time".
I really liked the feel of the speed. It was a bit hard for me to understand when the player could climb a wall or when he was going to launch. But you got a solid backbone, I would be nice to see a more polished version if you keep working it after the jam. Nice Work!
Sometimes the player makes unintended moves, but otherwise it's a cool concept. When polished, it'll be a great experience
i feel like controls are a bit clunky - sometimes instead of mantling i wall jump, holding down spacebar to wallrun instead of doing wallrun automaticly is inconvenient and i wish air control was better so it isnt super punishing to fail wall jump. but everything else in your game is implemented well! Also random "so easy!" in music is frying me dawg
Oh I just downloaded the music assets and i didnt even notice that "So Easy" until it was too late to change it. It caught me offguard too!
Anyway, Thanks for the feedback! ill be sure to keep your suggestions in mind.
I love the character controller!
The movement is a little hard to grasp but this is a cool use of the theme! The procedural generation is very well done!
not sure what I am supposed to do?
Oh you are suppose to go to the finish by navigating through the maze! you can use wasd to move and space to jump and do parkour related stuff.
Hint: Youll probably need to hold space 90% of the time
