Wow this is so cool and so good! I really loved seeing all my players do their thing without me touching the keyboard, very satisfying. The art and the character are so nice too, each one has a unique role it's very well thought-out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to beat it because eventually there would always be one of my player dying in the time loop even though I had killed the enemies in the last run.
I thought I had to break it with the sword first. Yeah I could see the vision with the clones helping, but if you are faster than the clone then it you have to wait for it or do it again. Or if you have a better run where you let your clones do the job, then in your next run you have to push the boxes anyway. But otherwise the clone killing enemies was very helpful and I used it alot
Thank you! I didn't realize this was a hard jump but now that I think about it, the timing is pretty tight yeah. If you want to give it another try to experience the portals: the timing of the 3 jumps seems to be about the same as the beat of the music (which is totally unintentional lol). It also seems to help to press Right only when you think you cleared the height.
Probably one of the most fun games I have played! It's dynamic, the movement feels good, it has a long duration and I never got bored. On top of that you managed to put 3 unique boss and they were well designed.
And the fact that you accumulate time over runs means that even if you suck, eventually you will be able to beat it. If there is one bad thing I can say is while the levers are fine, I feel like the breaking the blocks+pushing the box kinda broke the flow and lead to collisions with my clone.
Thanks for trying it out! Yeah I don't know why the arrow keys don't show up in the web build (it worked in Godot). Clearing portals are the Q and E keys. I suggest having one hand on WASD position and one hand on Arrows position. You can look at the game page for more details including controls. Good luck!
Wow I really enjoyed this, it was a very creative idea! The mage's spells were fun to figure out they were each very unique. And the enemies don't just attack you, they use the system against you to make it harder to attack. On top of that, the visuals and the soundtrack are pretty good. Very impressive.
I like hard games and platformers, but man this is so brutal and unforgiving...
For me to enjoy it, you would start at the beginning of the level, not the whole game. The timer just kills you mid-run, and makes the level harder while you already struggle; even if a good concept, I would remove the timer. And for the levels themselves, either make the pink balls not kill you or don't put so many spikes. I also didn't understand the canons, sometimes they would shoot red, so I couldn't progress while the timer is going down and we only have 20s to spare.
But it's clear a lot of effort went into this, the production is very good and it feels good to play. I enjoyed the first 2 levels and basing it off of that.
This is a neat game, I completed it all the way through. I found the controls very straightforward, (I had no issue with them and really liked the physics, I have no clue what people are talking about?). The assets are and the music are pretty nice too.
What feels like a big oversight to me is how the timer does not reset when you die, and how the platforms needs time to respawn too. This means I was stuck waiting for the timer because I knew I was going to die, or I had to wait for the platform, and then because I had waited for the platform, I had to wait more because I lacked time.
The concept of changing room was cool but what happened for me is 1/10 of the time it would be different, and the other times it was the same room (but even without that I had fun)
This is so good it needs more people playing it! There are many mechanics that are all interesting, different worlds each with their own music and their own assets. The controls are smooth and responsive.
My only "complaint" was that it was a bit too easy, but the final level and the two EX levels were pretty challenging
I don't understand your comment, basically the clock says "highest depth:0", and every expedition is the same floor variation with rock/bronze/bats/slime. To start the expedition it only says "Floor 12" and I can't change it, so I don't know how to progress
EDIT: Ok after reading a comment I saw you have to break rocks in one of the room to uncover stairs underneath. I don't know how I was supposed to know that, I thought we were just collecting resources
