Very hard! I have been stuck! I don't understand how to make progress after 20 minutes and I want to! The core loop is interesting!
I get the panel with 4 colors lit up and then have no earthly idea what  I can do.
Unlocking anything feels good and I read Mr_Cook's comment but still am totally stuck, even with trial and error😵

The buttons feel so good to press and it feels so good to make progress though, if someone posts a walkthrough (probably has to be video or written well) where I can get unstuck I will come back and try to beat it, I am determined!!

Sorry you found it frustrating, I wanted to add more features to make the game easier but that was all I could do withing the time limit being solo.. As for the 4 buttons, they're a keypad for the big panel above them, they require a 6 character code that you can find elsewhere. Also, there is a pretty simple way to gain 10 seconds using the big green buttons. If you want to progress I think the best method is to only focus on one element or series of elements during a single loop and then chain everything once you've figured it out. Thanks for checking it out and giving it some time tho, I appreciate it !

Hard... so hard! But anyway for the fans of something like this, it's must have.

This is extremely well done! The art and audio sets the tone completley and combined with the almost to smooth movement it was even nice to ignore the countdown and just sway around and click things hahah!

The puzzles are very well designed, and they are very well intertwined as they first overwhelm you but still allow you to delve in and pick them apart! Multiple times I got that classic "aha"-moment that Mark loves to rave about hahah, so that was great!

I did not manage to finish it though heh, and I do wonder based on the other comments here, that was there something else you had to do to make the green buttons add extra time? I'm sure that there was some button combination or current I missed but they never added any time and that made it difficult to get further than the shape-code time-addon. I think I understood everything else I had to do to finish it, but without the time to do it! Would really like to know so I can come back and finish it! :)

Glad you enjoyed  it ! For the extra time you just had to press the 4 green corner buttons in a single loop to get 10 seconds back but I probably should have made it clearer with some sound effects... Thank you so much for giving it a try and some time !

Oh that was it?! Hahahah damn, I thought I tried that but guess I only clicked 3 heh.

Okay did it now and finished with 2.3s left, literally let out a "woohoo" hahah, felt great!

Another really fun thing that also speaks to the cleverness of the puzzle is that, now afterwards I checked the order that Mr_Cook did it in, and I did it in a completley different order! I did the 4-digit code first! Being able to solve it in your own path really adds to the solve!

Thanks for the help and again really well done! :D

Really fun game! I had such a good time that I got to the end.

I love how it looks and most of the sounds. However the explosion sound can get really annoying to me since you listen to it so many times. Aside from that, awesome game, really well polished

Developer

Awesome, thank you so much !

Best password from Immersive Sim when i figure out what real password is, especially when I'm stucked with password and blind guessed.

10/10

Heart racing from this I really enjoyed it, figuring out each puzzle in it and what a good path might be was tricky. I assume Mr_Cook's path below was more reliable at getting the time bonuses but my own path let me hit quite a lot of stuff as I sped by. Down, up-right, left, down, right, left and up a bit, right and up, down left, right, up, diffuse. Great work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing ! Glad you gave it some time and enjoyed it !

Time to Complete: 1hr 32m

What I Loved

  • Love all the different button pressing sounds
  • The everything graphic wise looked beautiful and everything I clicked sounded satisfying
  • The gameplay loop
  • Had to whip out the pen and paper for the shape code puzzle

What I Wished

  • Had a desire to scroll out the camera with the scroll wheel to see the whole board (maybe just to see but not able to interact when zoomed out?)
  • Wish it was more obvious when a puzzle would give time, I felt hopeless about the timer until I finished a puzzle that gave time
  • When at the point of optimizing the run for getting the key and putting it in the hole I wish I had a quick restart button (like R) for when I messed up a puzzle and knew I wouldn't have enough time to get to the key hole

What needs Work

  • No idea I had to press space on the first screen
  • 3 countdown cycles to figure out that I has to press WASD to look around started by just clicking everything I could see

Overall I really enjoyed the game!

Extra Stuff I wrote down

Order I figured out the puzzles (might be useful):

  1. Was able to figure out the main goal after pressing the red button! Traced the red wire -> yellow -> blue wires/switches to a screw panel
  2. Was able to open the screwdriver panel but didn't have enough time to open the panel on the left (was slightly frustrated)
  3. I figured out that the green buttons gave extra time and was able to get the key out but I had no idea what I had to with it
  4. Next I decided to get the figure out the shape & color puzzle took a while to find the light switch that revealed a code and felt more joy when I figured out that the puzzle added even more time!
  5. I decided to figure out what the blue triangles did, I chained together and optimized the puzzled I finished to try and figure it out, took about 7-8 countdown cycles to chain all the puzzles together cleanly and get the code! Then I knew what I needed the key for!
  6. I first tried to finish the game by chaining together the 2 puzzles that add time then doing the screwdriver/key as fast a possible then entering the code/red button as fast as possible, was definitely not enough time
  7. Next I tried slowly but surely to chain all the puzzles into 1 big optimized run here is my final order:
order I took to finish:
- screwdriver button 1 & bottom left green button
- yellow to blue & blue write switch 1
- screwdriver button 2 & bottom right green button
- 134312 color switches & blue wire switch 2
- screwdriver button 3 & top left green button
- screwdriver button 4 & top right green button
- screwdriver
- blue wire switch 3 & blue wire switch 4
- open panel & blue wire switch 5
- key & blue to yellow switch
- number keypad & red button
- key hole

Good Game!

Awesome ! Thanks for checking it out ! I wish I had time to make a map that reveals the different connections as you progress in between each loop, that was a day one want and same for the restart button 😭. Other than that I feel like the difficulty is definitely gonna gonna lower the review count, so I'm so glad you gave it so much time ! + You gave some ideas to add to the page so thank you !

This was awesome!! I know this is only small but just from the first "press space to start" interaction with the bounce animation and sound effect I knew this was gonna be good. Everything feels so responsive and tactile. You really nailed how everything feels to interact with all the curves on the animations. I didn't get a winning run, only negative for me is you're right - it is an absurdly short countdown! Definitely a skill issue on my end.

Developer

thank you so much for the support ! I think my lack of playtesting definetly didn't help 😭

Ah shame - this looks gorgeous but I can't play on Mac!

I feel we have solved similar problems during this jam :P

Developer
