cool concept and interesting to play levels

Submitted

Oooh this one is so satisfying, great job on the level design, it's one of those that makes you feel really smart once you complete it

I liked the main mechanic, and the increasing difficulty of the levels. Some levels can get away without being very precise but some of the later levels are very unforgiving, I think a shot indicator or some way to "lock" your shot would help greatly. Also, some of the levels with moving pieces don't sync perfectly so you have to wait a couple of cycles for the platforms to align correctly, I would have appreciated a "speed up" button. I enjoyed it, good work!

Really fun polished game!

This was my favorite game I have played so far. It was fun figuring out how the game worked and how to solve the puzzles. And the game was very polished. Well done!

One minor suggestion for you to consider would be to provide a way to see the full sequence of actions for the level after it starts. I love seeing it in the intro to the level. But some sequences are so long that you can't see the full thing on the right side during the level. One time I accidently pressed R during the intro and didn't get to see the whole thing. Maybe it could be in the pause menu?

Nice and crunchy, a I really like the UI around the whole thing. The levels were good and fast paced, without feeling like you didn’t have control. Good job!

Lots of clever mechanics for such a short period of time, great job!

cool idea!

A simple game, but a pretty good one! I could only beat the last level with a hint, though, but that's not bad. You should keep going with this one, it could be a cool mobile game or something. Good job!

Simple and fun, exactly what the scope of Jam game should be! I agree that the UI could use some work with exposing the countdown theme even more!

Very cool idea, and nice artwork! It's not easy and thats good! You should try to develop this further after the event, when you have more time :D

Very challenging and fun. Being able to retry quickly was really useful. You did a really good job.

Some additional feedback since it might be helpful in the future:

  • At first I had trouble noticing the shot queue on the right, so that could be made clearer. The numbers were more confusing than helpful.
  • A grid background would help with shot placement.
  • Though not strictly necessary, I think a shot preview line would also be nice. I had this in my GMTK 2021 submission (Liquid Billiards) since it wouldn't work without it. I think I used this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VUmhuhkELk

I like the combination of physics and puzzle! It felt good to play too.

such a satisfying physics puzzle game! turning the bounce order into a countdown mechanism is super clever, and the animations look so smooth and polished. gives off awesome classic miniclip / newgrounds vibes! lining up the perfect trickshot feels amazing. really solid entry, great job!

Wasn't very clear to me when my shot would destroy the target or bounce off of it.

Sorry about the confusion, it shows the bounce order before the level, and also during the level on the right.

The numbers are the bounce number, and when it shows the explosion, that will destroy the target. The ui on the right reads top down so for example on level 3, it shows " 3 2 1 [explosion]", this means the ball will need to bounce 3 times and on the forth collision it will destroy the enemy.

Fun physics and clean presentation. Feels right at home on Miniclip or Newgrounds!

Nice job. A lot of fun to play and very satisfying when you line up the shot just right.

The moving background made it more challenging to line up my shots, but I'm betting that was intentional. It scaled up the difficulty nicely and kept me playing.
