Fun game. The visuals, sfx, music, etc all really well done. I like the game loop too, is really satisfying when getting a big combo. ദ്ദി(•ᴗ• ) Good job.
I especially like the mouseover animations on the intro screen feels really nice, and played around with the mouseover for at least a full minute before jumping into the main game lol. Looks nice when they show up during combos too.

Really clever mix of strategy/puzzle and incremental, and the juicy little animations make it incredibly satisfying!

Simple but addictive. I can see this being a game on my phone that I play on the bus or train.

The visuals are amazing and the game is hyper-addictive. Great game!

Super addicting and a really creative concept, with a very clean minimalist artstyle that still exudes a ton of personality. I love setting up for 3-clear combos and then screwing up because I forget a 3x3 block counts as a clear, I find that really funny.

My highest score as of this writing was 89928 and I'm probably going to keep playing for another hour, lmao.

Yeah I got up to 143627 lmao

THIS IS MY FUCKING SHIT. You NEED to release this as a phone game of some sort. I could play this for hours. Literally the only thing that was missing for me was a bumpin' song in the background. I listened to an 8-Bit cover of "Never Gonna Give You Up" while I was playing this though, and it slapped hard. I will be revisiting this. Please release it, I'll buy it, I promise.

Amazing and engaging game! I played 2 rounds, the first I got 7k points, then I learned to rotate and got 14k :)

Such a great and well polished game!

Awesome game, super satisfying SFX, the art is really expressive and hilarious, and the core gameplay loop is absolutely solid. Loved trying to get combos for some immensely satisfying reward, and the only thing I really want out of the game is something to use the money on (like palette swaps and whatnot) after the rounds, cause otherwise it's just points you can upgrade stuff with, which is still worth trying to go for, but it'd be kinda fun to have something more to aim for. Great stuff though.

Super addicting! The game's really easy to get into and has a good amount of strategy, and the sound effects are very satisfying. The traced out reaction images made me laugh a couple times too. My only complaints are that I wish there was some music, and the info when you hover over a button takes a while to update.

It's a nice game, you can easily get stuck!

Very satisfying gameplay loop, and I love the color palette and clean UI. Great work! One thing I noticed though is that the button hover info takes a bit to appear, not sure if that’s intended or not.

Game was peak, had a lot of fun, it was really satisfying to line up combos. Great job!!

Cool game. I don't why I love the main menu ui so much, but I do it is just so cool how it fades. Great job :)

Developer

Thanks! I ended up spending quite a long time on the main menu animations, so it's good to hear that they were appreciated!

Got a score of 13,177! Absolutely loved this, Being only mouse controls works greatly to the game's benefit as everything feels immediately really intuitive, and it was refreshing to play a game in this jam that didn't have a timer as its innate mechanic. Getting the combos felt badass and it was really funny when the guy showed up to be like yuppp you did two things at once get a billion points. A properly juicy entry that ends at just the right time. Awesome work!

Developer

Thank you! I was very deliberately trying to avoid having a timer, as it felt like that's what almost everyone would default to. Hearing that the combos were really satisfying makes all the time tracing photos to make the pixel art guy worth it!

Developer

Great to hear you enjoyed the game! It took a long time to make the pictures of the guy, so it's great to hear that he as appreciated!

In the final round of playtesting I managed to get a 7-fold combo (two boxes, three rows, two columns cleared at once) and ended up with over a million points ;) I should have put a leaderboard in!

Submitted

Omg how did you get 510k haha, great game, very well done :D

Developer

Getting that score did take a few tries admittedly :) it was "playtesting"!
