Even if a but overwhelming at some point and despite my shortcomings when it comes to poker, I have enjoyed it and found the overall looks of it very lovely! :) Great work!
Lovely little fast paced card game
Cool game but the text is far too small (at least on a 4k monitor)
As a person who never understood poker I found this game surprisingly easy to undestand. But it is hard to be able to read short-term quests while playing. Overall game is great!
I did run into this issue as well, tried to mitigate it by moving the objectives to the center of the screen but I agree, it can get overwhelming. With the cooldowns from doing actions I had hoped to slow the pace down a bit though, maybe back to the drawing board haha
Good game, reminds me of Balatro. I got overwhelmed by having the quests and que timer at the same time, I don't think there's time to read any of them if you need to rush playing hands

Kinda drops you into the deep end there instantly. As one who is not that fast at reading and doesn't play poker i fount it too hard. I would have liked better if the difficulty and complexity gradually ramped up.
I tried to mitigate this, so you should be able to unlock the first power-up after your 2nd hand (or if you played a double), which I hope would be a good introduction into the basic game mechanics, but I do agree, there are quite a lot of numbers being thrown at you once you start. Will definitely need to ease the player into this better for the next iteration!

I am not skilled at card games at all, or understand how to play them, so my strategy might have been just button smash all the large value cards to watch the numbers go up. But! I did enjoy it and have fun >:D! The visuals were very clean, and I enjoyed hearing the sounds when clicking the cards and making the combinations. Great job!
Oh yeah I could see this rotting peoples brains with a few more visual effects, nice work.
I really enjoyed this spin on Balatro! I think that having things based on a timer made it a fun challenge to see what you could throw together quickly, while still trying to score high enough to stay in the game. I did have a little issue telling apart the suits (clubs vs spades, diamonds vs hearts), but it was a minor thing. The background music was pleasant to listen to, and I enjoyed the gameplay a lot
I'm sure this would be waaay more fun if I knew how poker worked lmao
Anyway, as others said, the balatro influence can definitely be felt, and it's not a bad thing, it's a well done game :)
Haha I think the beautiful thing is you can kind of play without knowing, I know I didn't know too much when I first started playing Balatro, just matched suits and numbers and hoped for the best ! ><
