How does your game fit the theme?
You go around the map exploring for oddities. Your energy depletes as you travel, so you need to plan ahead to make sure you have enough energy capture all the oddities. You can regain energy by consuming snaccs and/or resting in town. The counting down part comes from planning & counting how much energy you'd need to make your trip, with taking account on how many snaccs & money do you have to maximize the trip. Oddities are also based on certain tiles they reside, so you can avoid unnecessary trip.

Really love this concept, the art and music is super cozy and if I didn't have to restart from the tutorial every time I failed a level I would keep playing for ages.
Amazing work, I'll definitely come back to this if you plan to change the restart point because it's very fun!
I really enjoy your game and art. feel so cozy.
Nice cozy game, feels very polished. Having to restart from the tutorial is a bit too punishing though.
thank you!
agreed, i realized resetting the game entirely on failure was too punishing :')
btw you can press "T" at any point to go to the next level should you want to continue from where you left off
maybe i'll change it later after the voting period, so it'll just reset the level instead of the whole game
Great execution!
thanks! glad you enjoyed the game :D
Such polished work! This is absolutely amazing. You put so much care into it, and it’s loads of fun!
thank you! glad you enjoyed it :D
The core concept is pretty solid, but having to restart from the beginning after losing feels a bit harsh. It definitely needs a checkpoint system or better progression
thank you!
agreed, i realized resetting the game entirely on failure was painful :')

Very fun puzzle game that is simple to understand and get into. Lots of potential for future expansion and mechanics. The only thing that felt missing was some feedback on moving and using energy. A little sound effect and animation for energy use would go a long way. That's my only nitpick though, This is great!
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :D
yeah initially i was going to implement that, but the deadline said otherwise :')
so i abandoned it and opt to include it on the text instead
hopefully i can expand it soon if i have the time and/or enough people gain interest!
Wow! I'm never not impressed when a unique type of game shows up. This is one of them! I really love the vibe and I like how it's simple yet has a lot of depth! When the tutorial is over, it's got that freedom to make more informed choices and as long as you keep your energy, there's no wrong move. So it's not like a one-size-fits-all puzzle. It's an adventure! The cryptic theming stuff and flavour is so fun too! Thanks for the experience!
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :D
initially the game was going to be more.. precise in the movement cost and whatnot
but along the way i realized a bit of flexibility would help player to give them more agency & having more fun
The cute presentation and resource puzzle work really well together, I am deifnitelly gonna follow this project if you are planning to expand it!
thank you!
the initial idea was more scope-creep-y, haha. but yeah, i'm considering to expand it further at some point if enough people are interested
This game is a blast! The concept, the artwork—top-notch. You’ve done a great job designing the Itch page, too! The music does get on my nerves a bit after a while, though :D. And since I mess up so often, I have to start over all the time, which is a little annoying. All in all, though, great job!
thank you! glad you enjoyed it :D
i mean, yeah, the music can get tiring after a while :x
many people (and me) agreed that resetting the game entirely on failure was annoying :')

Really good game,i never thought idea like this
thank you! the initial idea was more scope-creep-y tho, haha
i'm glad i made thru the jam :D
A cute game very enjoyable and cozy! Great job!
thank you! :D
i appreciate the feedback
Amazing game. Tbh it's too harsh to punish the player going back to beginning if they make mistake :')
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :)
yeah, i just realized bringing player back to square one is too punishing :')
fortunately i forgot to remove the testing shortcuts, so you can press "T" at any point to go to the next level
Cute puzzle, I like it and I make several tries to get to final puzzle. Unfortunately game punishes you and you losing all of your progress. Can't make it to the end, but it was fun and clever. Fun narrative, lots of polishing - great job!
p.s: The sound of people talking about the affordable housing is really beatiful
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :)

Cute Artwork and overall very thoughfull puzzle game
thank you! i appreciate the feedback :)
The art is really cute! The cover image definitely compelled me to check this one out. I almost bounced off because of the amount of text, but am glad I stuck around to get to the more challenging levels. Once past the "tutorial" it was pretty fun. I did make a mistake and lost though - wasn't expecting it to send me back to the very beginning! That was my main gripe. But great work!
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :)
previously i was going to include some visuals (each oddities photos) but didn't make it to the end

Very clever concept (and game name!) - I could see this expanding into much larger maps potentially. The graphics were definitely the standout though - clicked immediately when I saw how cute this looked. Nicely done!
thank you! glad you enjoyed the game :)
