The visuals and audio of this game are GREAT. It's really giving me a sense of Risk of Rain 2, and I absolutely adore that game! I think it would have been nice to have a bit of a clearer indicator for when you hit things, as I couldn't tell sometimes if I was actually hitting their hitbox. Great work!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it ! Agreed a hit indicator is definitely something that's missing.

Very cool vibe. Feels kinda overwhelming at first tho. Im impressed by the scope of the map

I really love the art style and Risk of Rain vibe it's giving. The control is also fun, allowing your to swim around very fast. Though I think the combat is still somewhat lacking, there's not much to do, and all 3 bosses are the same one. I'd be cool to see more gimmick and variety. I also think that the scaling of the timer is too high, the enemy take a lot of your time off but in return you get a lot of time from killing the jellyfish. While the big number look cool, it make the natural ticking of timer almost obsolete, which ruin the whole point of it being timer rather than just hp. But other than that it's a really cool concept, I think I could see what you're going for when you create it. Wish you luck!

Developer

The combat is definitely something we would have like to work more on given more time. Adding different upgrades, boss variations and tweaking the balancing. The timer is a valid point, we struggled to find a concept where a timer stood out as a unique mechanic. So we decided to go all in on making it a gimmick, we would of liked to make the values go all the way into days and years. Gaining / loosing years of oxygen sounded funny to us.

I really hope more people take a chance to try this one out, there's so much charm to the style and animation. it's a lot of fun running around as fast as you can as this little guy. I've never played an aquatic centric game that really let you zoom!! It's very satisfying to find a big cluster of jellies to farm before getting jumpscared by a giant red bubble hahaha, really great work!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words ! Sounds like you had fun :)

that's a pretty sick art style, very stylish, and the gameplay feels nice, i only wish there was some way to use arrows to control the camera but it's a pretty solid entry, i love it

Very cool game. The movement is very good and I like the art style, but I didn't know exactly what to do. Still I really like how the game feels.

Great art and atmosphere, wasn't sure what I was meant to do though. I summoned a large jellyfish and attacked it and its purple projectiles until it disappeared, but the "bosses to defeat" counter stayed at 3 so I'm not sure if I fought it correctly

Developer(+1)

Unfortunately the final build has a bug where the counter doesn't reflect the correct value. Killing 3 of them will get you to the win screen though !

Love the art style! The gameplay is pretty well done, but I kept trying to hit the red jellyfish and whiffing
