Straight up adorable little game. I found the challenge of the marmots(?) around the rabbit a bit tough to figure out how to make count, but it was still an enjoyable little game.

I love the illustrations, and the concept is novel. Very smart mechanically to pull this off, seems simple on the surface but can tell there's more going on once you think about the perspective shift. Difficulty progression seemed pretty comfortable but noticeable and I enjoyed the gradual morph into puzzle game.

Probably one of the photos of all time.

Congratulations on the great work! I really liked the creative concept and the way you adapted it to the game jam theme. Well done!

I like the art style! btw, could you guys tells me how to make a photo match the layout of a game scene exactly? it's impressive!

Developer

so the secret trick is it's actually a 3d game but from the top down. when you take a photo (when the screen turns white) all the object very briefly turn to face the camera, a photo is taken, and then they are turned back before the white starts fading away lol

Developer

important for making the top down camera look 2d is to set the camera to orthogonal instead of perspective so it doesn't have the. perspective

I got it, thx!

Love the vibe of this game, very creative and I loved the different ways you interact with the animals! Moose is also very cool!

Love the concept! the artstyle is very cute too and I love that the moose occasionaly looks at you ominously haha

I love the concept of this game and how creative you get to be with the compositions of each photo. I kept running into a few bugs which caused me to not finish the game, but overall I really enjoyed it. I also love the art style and coloring!

Very creative game. Although screenflashes hurt my eyes I really enjoyed it. The narrative and the mechanics is excellent. Maybe you could add some forest sound or birds into hear. Great game.

Very creative and good vibes! Got no scene loading bugs. I was saddened by the moose not liking the innocent rabbits at first, glat he changed his mind quick.

What a creative premise lol. Very cute game. I really liked how demanding the moose could get. Great stuff. I think only complaint is that it could’ve used some more polish and it was a bit too easy to skip the dialogues. Still had fun with it in any case!

A very cute game that feels like it was made with love, great dialogue and chill vibes. Loved the mechanic too, it was fun to play around with it, kind of reminded me of Flock Around!

Love it! Such a cute game. I love the portraits of the moose, especially the one where it looks straight at you. And the levels are well designed.

Developer

thank you it took all the restraint in my soul to use the moose looking directly at you sparingly. im glad you liked the game!

Ah yes, such a good picture lol

Good concept. The game has a nice variety of mechanics with all the different animals. The raccoon can be a bit frustrating to work with but it make for a nice difficulty. Good game :)

Also, I don’t know if it’s just my headphones but I find the music to be very quiet
