It appears some the numbers on this bomb timer are loose.

How does your game fit the theme?
Shifting Digits is a game where you move the numbers in a Count Down around so the Count Down doesn't Count Down to 0.

Creative game! It was simple but still a struggle to get the most time. I didn’t initially understand that when the empty sockets are treated “as a zero”, you meant that it is simply taken out entirely out of the number (so an empty 03:__:00 is treated as 3 seconds). It makes sense in hindsight but I didn’t get that part immediately. I also didn’t know that above 60 hours was an invalid time; usually it’d either be unlimited or capped at 24. But anyway, the style was nice (and the unscrewing stuff reminded me of There Is No Game).

it's well executed, with the short loops and simple concept, overall one of the most enjoyable games i've played!

fun and creative take on the theme!

Really creative idea and I loved the pixel art. Nice little take on a timed puzzle game.  I wish there was a touch more time on the clock so I could mess around a bit more as it feels really tight, but the quick restarts helped with that. Great work

Great take on the theme!

Is there a way to relight a number once it goes out?

Developer

Not currently, no.

I loved the ideas, the gameplay mechanics, the various tools and variety. The only issue is that mechanics seemed unclear and I would get bugs where no digit would come loose

Developer

I don't know what's causing it, but that bug only seems to be on the browser version. If you download it, it should be fine.

This is such a clever idea! When it first hit me that I can move the numbers, it gave me this great "AHA!" moment. Awesome work!

Daaam, at the start I was like, ah, you can just move one to the front and call it quits, but after some playing, when you remove a digit, the timer shifts so it goes faster. Very neat! Managed to survive for 4:09 (first try). Loved this game. Good job!
