There is a count down until down that marks the end of our little count down vampire, you have to kill all the villagers before that

It was fun to play, nice artistyle, too! Genuinely loved the shrimp

Fun game with a cool art style, would love to see more enemy or level variety to bump up the length and difficult but I get that's not always realistic in a game jam. Good job!

Short and sweet, it controls well :)

Fun little game! I tried the game twice and beat it the second time. The shirmp made me laung lol, is it an easter edd? The game is fun to play and the environment setup is immersive despsite a little short. I particularly like the the Cultlamb style 3D perspective! The color you used is also very thematic. I wish it could be longer or have some rouguelike reward elemets. Great work guys!

*thunder bolt* It's a lovely game! *thunder bolt*

I wish it was a little longer honestly! The artwork is very charming, as is the setting. I like the stealthy mechanics and the movement is butter smooth, even if the powerups were a little finnicky sometimes (they wouldn't trigger properly, especially at the start.) I loved the three villagers in a row just looking at each others backs. I do that with my friends all day!

I broke my little heart to kill the shrimp, you monsters.

Developer

We are glad that you enjoy it ^^ probably we miss on giving proper UI feedback when you try to use a power up but doesn’t have enough blood to use it, that or is a bug that we didn’t catch that is very possible.

R.I.P Shrimp, one must do what it must do to ascend

Nice work!! Absolutely loved the art work, and how consistent the game design was. I now wanna try the monochromatic design myself. The gameplay was also smooth and didn't feel any stress, so I just wish there was more stages for me to play. Great job!

Developer

Thank you! ^^ I’m glad we inspire you, it’s a big compliment tbh. The monochromatic style is a lot of fun. I’m a big fan of how artistic restrictions push you to find new and more creative solutions (and, of course, it also saves us time from spending it coloring every sprite, jaja).

I think we built a great foundation with this one, so maybe we’ll come back after the game jam and expand it with more levels. The original map design was actually twice the size, with more props and additional points of interest, also we have some more ideas of villagers behaviors and powers.

Movement was pretty good! I agree with the speedrun feeling someone mentioned. I ran out of time the first time, and my second run actually felt so fluid since I knew what to do and just chained the people. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you very much ^^ Now I regret not putting the time on the final screen, we didn’t think of it earlier, jaja. And yeah, it surprised me during development that knowing the position of the villagers doesn’t take away from the fun of the game, I even found it a little funnier to try to complete it as fast as you can with your current knowledge. We would definitely take that into account if we decide to expand it.

Really cool artstyle!

Developer

Thanks! ^^ It was quite an experience to bring it to life, but at the end it all comes together nicely.

Silly shrimp, 10/10

Developer

Thanks ^^

Honestly it was pretty fun, it feels like it could be speedrun since the movement is kinda fun. Didn't expect the shrimp lol

Developer(+1)

Jaja I thought the same. I actually did a few speedrun attempts while testing.

And yeah, the shrimp was the result of not sleeping so we could meet the deadline on the last day. It adds a funny little touch.

This could absolutely be fully fleshed out, theres a lot of potential here.

Shrimp :)

Developer

Thanks ^^, maybe we would expand on this idea later, there is a lot of room for more scenarios and mechanics.

Shrimp indeed

The tension well executed here. At times I struggle to find people but that in no way makes it any less fun. Great narrative.

Thank you very much! We’re glad you enjoyed it ^^
