I finished both difficulties. I really really like it. Love the idea, it's really fun, the music is nice and chill, the alien audio is cool, the art is pretty. Feels like a fun single player board game! Wish there were more events, and that it was a little better balanced, so the events dictated gameplay decisions a little more. Also, for me, the random star "punishment" ended up being one of the best strategies to get around the map fast.
I see a lot of potential for a really fun full game! Hope you keep developing.
This game is just bursting with vibes! Congrats!
Your game is awesome ! But I think what impresses me the most, as a fellow artist, is the character design. It is so good, I want to see a full game with this art style.
Good job on your jam entry it is very cool !
ooooo this is a good one. i might be coming back to this
ahhhh i love the map so much, it´s simple but really nicely done! im a huge fan of the soundtrack as well. lovely work!
I like how this is basically FTL with
extrafewer steps xDReally liked the game and the idea, super cute! Loved the character design
Easy mode is short and sweet, i especially enjoyed the soundtrack and the little animations, gameplay is fun and tense with random effects when going to a star. Great job!
Super cool! I loved the art and the music. The characters are so charming!
It was very fun to play and well balanced. Really cool to be able to zoom out to see the whole star system.
Felt like FTL+Civilization in a good way.
The core mechanic of exploring and making decisions is interesting, but could use a lot more feedback after choosing actions. Make it feel like the choices have more of a consequence. Even just a screen shake, or a animation of the resource gained/lost would do.
A lot of potential here, especially with the atmosphere that the sprites and sound effects create,
It's really fun figuring out your way through the map, especially in the hard mode. It's fun to juggle resources between the mushrooms and your travel distance. I got sweating by the end, where I was 50 units away from my last package, but I decided to warp to a random star... I got 100 units away with 20 fuel and 20 crystals T_T. I still won thanks to a string of froggies and a well placed merchant, i got just enough to reach the end.
The art is also soo cute. If anything i'd just wish for a bit more detailed map/game area, though the symbols are just clear enough as is.
Probably my favorite of the jam so far. If this game had more time to add more encounters/characters I could play this one for hours.
Thanks for playing! We would love to add more characters and interactions down the road
Character designs are so great! I dreaded seeing the mushrooms even though they are so cute!
I really loved this, loved the audio, loved the art, felt maybe the game was too easy? I would 100% buy a fully fleshed version of this vibe with a little more difficulty, with some world building too? All in all, you did an absolutely great job! It's high up there in the games I played, I will tell people to give this hidden gem a try!
I find this game relaxing and not too punishing in hard.
Thanks for playing!
i love it! I really enjoy the premise and the resource management, everything feels so polished, great job guys! By the way, Mr. Mushkin is so mean, he killed me every time :( hahaha
Mr. Mushkin is a tough guy, gotta be careful out there haha
Thanks for playing :)
Such a fun and cute one, for some reason I can imagine this as a tabletop game. I really enjoyed the space delivery theme, I used to do delivery and (besides getting taken for ransom) this really did capture the feeling of traveling to an unknown place, not quite knowing what you'll find along the way, or where the nearest gas station is :)
A tabletop game would be cool- and good to hear you never had any ransom trouble while delivering packages haha. That would make for quite a story. Thanks for playing the game!
