How does your game fit the theme?
Every move counts down the fuse. The main bomb has a set number of moves before it explodes — reach the Goal before it hits zero. Later levels add a second bomb with its own faster countdown, collapsing the floor as it ticks toward detonation. The whole game is built around racing one or two countdowns at once.

This is a good underated game. One suggestion I would do is to be able to see what a trap does once you've encountered one of that kind. Also, I found that the card were kind of hard to click on.Its a great concept and I think with a bit more level design it can be a great puzzle game.

I feel like the upgrades eliminate the challenge of the puzzles because I just walked to the goal and never had the bomb get close to exploding. More time and some harder puzzles though would make this a great game.

Quite clever puzzles and personally a big fan of grid based puzzlers.
The artstyle is simple, but beautiful (the color scheme you've chosen is very good).

Good job! <3

Developer

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the grid-based puzzle and the color palette. Thanks for playing!

I like the idea and the art, and the idea was used in a pretty fun way.

I like it :D. It reminded me a bit of minesweepers. I did have some trouble clicking a card to start with. I think its a good start to a fun game :)

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad it reminded you of Minesweeper! I'll improve the card selection at the start to make it smoother. Thanks for the support!

There's a surprising amount of levels here. I had trouble sometimes clicking a card to choose to start, but might've just been itch acting up on me and it cleared up after a few clicks.  It's got some tough levels, I'd have preferred a restart button when I knew I messed up, but just running into the same trap over and over managed to get the job done. Neat little game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll look into improving the card selection and consider adding a restart button in a future update. Thanks for the feedback!

First off, this is a really cool idea and it certainly fits the theme well.

Some feedback that I’d give is to make the ticking noise only when the player is on the map, or perhaps even shortly after making a move and it could ramp up with the fewer moves you have left. A bit of music could be playing during the card selection process.

Perhaps it was just me, but finding that little blue arrow in the bottom right to make the game full screen made the experience much better. It wasn’t obvious to me, but that could be my lack of knowledge on the unity engine.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback! I'll take another look at the audio, music, and UI to improve the experience. Thanks again!

Fun little game! The card choices definitely made levels a bit more interesting and added to the strategic choices for solving each puzzle. There was a little funkiness with selecting cards, you have to click in a very specific place on the card.

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad the cards added some strategy to the puzzles. I'll make the card selection easier to click. Thanks for the feedback!

I was shocked by the amount of puzzles you made, nice work.

Using randomness like the dice tile or getting different powers for the same level is an interesting choice, since it adds variety to each run, but it might also introduce frustration, I can see cases where you can't complete a long level because you didn't get the right powers or because a dice tile gave a bad roll, though I see how it can encourage the player to adapt.

It's cool to see that you made a system that allowed you to go ham with the amount of content, so smart thinking there. The level selector is a good addition too. I can see how this can be a even more fun puzzle game with some quality of life changes.

Developer

Thank you for the detailed feedback! I'm glad you were impressed by the number of levels. You're right about the randomness, and I'll consider balancing it better to avoid frustration.

Ofc! It's definitely an interesting route for puzzle games, if you can make sure you can solve a level with all the tools given, it sounds like a good way to keep players on their toes.

Very cool, honestly a surprisingly long amount of levels. However understanding the game at the start was a little difficult, some more clarity would've helped. Overall nice!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the number of levels. I'll improve the tutorial to make it easier to understand. Thanks for the feedback!

Pretty neat game overall! I enjoyed seeing how the puzzles change over time. I liked the art a lot, and the audio was quite punchy and fit the theme quite well with the countdown. My only nit is that it was a bit unclear what some of the tiles did (I'm unsure what the dice does still), so a small guide would help with that. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing and for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals, audio. You're right about the dice tile I’ll make it clearer in a future update. Thanks for the feedback!

IT'S SOOO LONG but really fun! i like taht there is so much level to do but i did not quite got the use fo the compass power up :/

Really good game otherwise and you should be proud of yourself!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and leaving such a detailed review! I'm glad you enjoyed the level variety. I'll make the compass power-up instructions clearer in a future update. Thanks for the kind words!

I like the take on the countdown theme! And the puzzles are very cleverly made! I did soft lock myself a couple of times... but honestly, that just might be a skill issue on my part :D Very nice!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the puzzles. Thanks for the feedback!

Really fun puzzle game! I had an issue though with selection of cards/powerups in the main selection menu (where's there's three displayed) for it to actually be selected. I think it'd be more useful for them to have a more obvious hover states and the selection area to be larger. Well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the detailed feedback! You're right, the card/power-up selection area is a bit small and the hover state isn't very clear. I'll improve the UI in a future update. Thanks again!

This was a clever puzzle game and really detailed for the time, I loved the variety in types of trap, powerups, and ways of navigating the map, especially by repairing tiles. It was a great idea for the theme as well!

Developer

Thank you so much! I tried to make the traps, power-ups, and movement varied to keep the game interesting during the short jam. I'm really glad you felt it fit the theme! Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

This was a great and fun puzzle game. Having to manage one or even two countdowns at once makes every decision matter. Although I didnt understand some traps, the mechanics are simple and lead to some clever puzzles. I knew someone was going to do something bomb-related with this theme hahahah

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I wanted the countdowns to make every move feel important. And haha, I guess bombs were just too tempting with this theme!

Pretty good for four days of work. At first, I didn't realise I could fill in the holes which caused me to die but overall the gameplay was relatively intuitive. Good job :)
