This is an Amazing Game but I think it would be better to let the player move normally once a level is Complete because its a bit awkward to shoot nothing, nonetheless its still a well made game. Well Done
Good job. Controls are just a little confusing. ( ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
This is a pretty fun puzzle-like, and its a pretty cohesive experience. I found it tricky to predict at first until I realised the enemies shot on the movement the same way the player does, which made it easier. I also liked the ability to 'charge' weapons by getting them to 1 and switching off them. Neat! - I do wish I could see enemy health though, given that its a strategy game prettymuch, and I was usually gambling on whether a shot would kill, which got me killed a few times [].[]
love the overall aesthetic of the game, think you picked good audio + visuals to sell the theme. I found it quite frustrating to predict where enemies were going to end up, and the limited range + directionality made the gameplay feel a bit slow, but I think with some more variety in moves and weapons this could really shine. Congrats on the submission!
The art style of this game is fantastic!
However, the gameplay is quite clunky. The animations for each movement turn take a long time, making the gameplay experience very laggy.
The requirement to use weapons after they cool down leads to a lot of misses in the early stages, but the strategy of early cooling down becomes more effective as the number of weapons increases later on, which is great.
Additionally, the invisibility of monster health and player weapon attack power diminishes the strategic aspect.
I like the aesthetic this is super cool! The game mechanics are fun and I like that you can pickup new weapons from enemies that dropped them.
However I died many times in the 3rd room, and it's very annoying to get back. I expected to start the room over, not the whole game. Combined with the slow animations, I had to stop. Otherwise this is near perfect, I would have really liked to play more
