Simple yet kinda addicting game! I thought I would be better at it, but it really humbled me.

As a musician, this hurt my feelings. As a gamer, I did have fun. Good job!

pretty tough at first, but really addictive if you're into rythm games :D

Good job. Very creative and fun.

Pretty nice game, especially with the sfx and the music. I would like to try it again if it got some features added on in the future :)

Simple, fun, and well-executed. Great job!

I got 1739 as my best score! Creative use of the theme, and I like the background! For this type of game the background shouldn't be too distracting, so the simple visuals work well! I also really liked how the beat wasn't always the same, otherwise it'd be pretty easy to memorize. I liked it!

I got about 600 as my best score. Very hard game! I did my best when my eyes were closed actually, not looking at the screen. I found that the text didn’t really help me adjust my rhythm and only distracted me.

Great work! I think you can definitely expand on this by adding some more complex beats. So instead of “da da da da” more like “da dada da dada”

Cute rhythm game! As a player I would say I hope there could be more levels with different rhythmic patterns. Good job tho!

I liked it quite a bit. When I started, I couldn't get more than 20-ish points.
But after a good few more tries, I managed to get a score that felt satisfying to me.

I really appreciated the feedback on whether I was too fast or too slow. Once I got into the rhythm, it helped me improve my score a lot. The animation for that feels pretty good as well.

Good job!

Couldnt get further than 472 :( It was really fun for some reason, but if was a bit more forgiving, it might be fun? Maybe a system that deliberately chooses how forgiving it is, depending on the player. Really good game tho, enjoyed it

To be honest, I suck at it jaja, but love the idea! The UI fits the game really well, and I can definitely see it becoming super addictive with such a simple mechanic.

8 beats out of 8

Very fun! simple concept that was easy to understand but doesn't become too boring or repetitive! Very well done. Would be nice to see maybe having different speeds to follow each time instead of just the same one? But still very very good!!

Developer

Thanks for trying my entry!

Each run is a different tempo, actually. They are randomized so players can't just play a metronome and sync up, but rather force adaptation - everyone only gets to hear 8 ticks before the blank, and they can't be timed in advance. The reason you might not hear them as too varied is exactly to keep the difficulty around the same for everyone. If someone were to tap to a beat 20 BMP faster than someone else, the faster beat would always be easier and result in a higher score. :)

I hope this makes sense!

This is really impressive for such a short time span! Not really much else to say tbh, cool concept I am not the best at it though

this is such a creative game!! wish I was better at timing tho

Got 2550 - #25. You should definitely release this as a mobile game. Great simple concept, very easy to go "one more round". Well done!

A good game here
