pixel style and 8-bit music good
pizza time hehe.. I like it! I think it would be cool if you could change your keybinds, but I got used to it quick and the game's a fun platformer with nice movement !! I like it :D Very good
Everything about this game is great! The music, art, gameplay etc. I loved how the platforming reminds me of Celeste, it is really fun to do!
Really fun levels and escape scenario! Great work!
Excellent in game design crisp controls, brilliant level design, and pure platforming joy. I wish there were more levels.
A really great game.
great game. all the mechancis in the game are nice and the level design is great.
Very smooth platforming! Were you inspired by Super Marios' "!" blocks? Enjoyed it very much, and the 3D creature that starts chasing you is really cool. How did you achieve it, Is it done with a subviewport?
Hi, I worked on the creature -- it's done with a subviewport of a 3D scene, yes! It was pretty difficult to set it all up to calculate the correct transforms between the 2D 'world' and the 3D 'world'. Ultimately we had it move around in the XY plane in 3D, following the coordinates of its invisible 2D counterpart, and turning the heads to look towards an invisible 3D counterpart to the 2D player. We just attached the SubViewportContainer to the creature's 2D node itself and made sure the 3D camera was always centered on the 3D creature, so it would always render in the same place as its hurtbox.

I was surprised at how finnicky it was to set up, honestly. We've done similar things of blending 2D and 3D graphics in custom-engine projects before, and it's much simpler when your 2D rendering pipeline is all in 3D already, but Godot seems to keep 2D/3D pretty separate, for better or for worse. I wonder if there might be plugins to help do so more easily?
Super fun mechanics! The dash + ball jump SUPER satisfying. I can NOT for the life of my get the triple jump in the final level done, but i'm sure if i put enough time into it i'd be able to get it! Total skill issue on my end haha. Super cute graphics too! The pixel art and the 3d monster is an awesome contrast
Woah this was so fluid and fun! It reminded me a lot of Wario Land :)
Great game overall, but I ran into a bug where if you get hit by the monster on the spikes on level 3 you will not die unless you get off the spikes, kinda weird...
The controls are sooo smooth, especially the dash. I felt so good spaming it while trying to escape from that creature. the music's pretty good. and i love it when the lights go out. Great work!
AMAZING ART STYLE, specially when the light's out!
It reminds me about the gameplay loop of Pizza Tower AND talking about Pizza Tower, the MUSIC IS A BOP!!!
I LOVE the soundtrack... AMAZING WORK!
Very clever and challenging game.
theres so much to love about this game, the pixelly 3d on some of the objects works really really well with the lighting and the platforming feels very satisfying especially with the bouncer things, the monster also looks very cool, overall really well done :)
I love being a little guy
Oh yeah, now its pizza time
Great job !
Music is so good, got my heart pumping.
