How does your game fit the theme?
ACTION! is built around a countdown to the start of each take. Players operate a camera while the clock ticks down, adjusting framing, focus, and zoom before the director calls “Action!” At zero, they must start recording at the right moment to earn the best score.

Very creative idea! I ran into a glitch where the zoom would be rapidly switching between green and red, but I fixed it by constantly holding S. If anything, it even made it a bit more fun, as I had to make sure to release S right before I pressed space. Extremely fun to play!

A unique idea.

Fun to play!

Even the difficulty is there :)

I really like the concept of this game! And it makes me very sad to not be able to play it... For some reason, moving the mouse didn't work at all for me. Not sure if it's a Linux issue or Waterfox issue, I couldn't play it properly :') But I really like the idea of having to control multiple factors to get a good take! Really cool idea! Keep up the good work!

Very cool concept!

Very unique, never seen such a game before! It's quite a hassle to keep everything under control, but it's very fun! Well done!

Really creative and unique concept! I loved the camera mechanics and the pixel art. It was challenging, but really satisfying when you finally got the perfect shot!

The sprites are cute

nice concept, I like the ski free yeti ref. it's really hard to wrangle the drunk camera lol

My favorite game in the jam so far.

Really cool concept. I enjoyed the yetis too

The concept of the game is super original and really fun! The timing aspect while maintaining the frame made the levels super replayable (kind of like those F1 reaction games where you try and get as close to 0.0secs as possible).  The art style is really distinctive too.

I can totally see this being extended out with various scenes/levels/potentially more parameters to control as the game gets harder.

Really creative game! And the art looks great :)

A really unique take on the theme, nice artstyle and the gameplay was smooth. Overall a pleasant experience!

This is a real fun game. Creative and really enjoyable, but I will say that sometimes it can be too much. Very good game!

Very unique concept, wish there was some music

Yeah this was a really interesting game. Though I don't really like that it just shows a bunch of statistics instead of the actual picture. It was a little confusing with all the chaos that happens in the later levels. Camera man must have a very short attention span.

Very interesting concept, but sometimes the complications were a bit too agressive for my liking. I did enjoy it, good work!

Original approach to the theme, but it was hard to understand at first

One of the best games I've played so far! Loved the take on the theme, and it felt super polished to play.

I definitely found it stressfully as the complications piled up (in a good way!). And I was usually too focused on just controlling the camera to be able to watch any of the scenes playing out!

This is one of the better interpretations of the theme I've seen! Would love to see a version with a lower starting difficulty!
