I love the gameboy style art! Really nice job nailing the vibe in both visuals and music! I do think the controls feel a little strange on pc but I know that you made this for mobile so I'll try and give it a go on my phone as well.

One of the best games on this jam

Lots and lots and lots of content. Kind of insane for a game jam, honestly. Really enjoyed it! The aesthetic is awesome. I would also add Enter to the controls so that you can open your backpack. Great job overall, amazing entry.

How did you make a whole RPG in 4 days!?!??! Good Job!

To be honest, this game is a bit too much for me. It looks great—I love the Game Boy aesthetic and the 8-bit sounds. With this kind of game, I just like to be guided through it. A creative approach and a rare entry in a GameJam—good job!

Really great game! Art and music are crazy, and I have no idea how you managed all that in such a short time period

Big game for such a short time! The aesthetic was great, gave me MINIT and Pokemon vibes. Loved it!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I definitely was inspired by MINIT and Pokemon. Grew up with the Gameboy color, and MINIT was an easy style to replicate.

Im gonna be honest I don't really got that far, Im not used to this preset of controlls but the art looked nice and the audio was very nostalgic! It reminded me of the gameboy pokemon feeling! Well done!

Heh no worries! I definitely needed more time to flesh out the progression of the game. I ended up just settling for a hint that you needed to go home and sleep. Glad it reminded you of pokemon. Definitely an inspiration there.

Didn't know from the start how the theme was included, but later I did. This is a pretty big game for such a short time. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! I made dialogue system that helped make it feel big while still only being a few scripts. Also just tried your game. Really well done

An impressive amount of content! I've only done one day so far, but I'm loving the style and gameplay! You've tied in the theme quite nicely as well with different timed mechanics and limited days. Going to keep playing this!

Developer

Thanks! Wish I had a couple more days for polish but at least I completed something this time. Also played your game. Was really well done
