How does your game fit the theme?
My game is an adaptation of the British game show Countdown (which hopefully doesn't incur any copyright issues)

Where is Rachel  and Susie?

The general vibe fits the show really well. I did encounter some bugs where the letter placement got stuck and didn't follow the correct order, restarting the game fixed it.
It would be nice to be able to easily restart the game completely. Because if I mess up early on, I might want to just start a new game from scratch to get a new High Score.

I think you did a fantastic job, well done!

Oh man, I was hoping someone would do Countdown and you delivered. Great work.
Shame I had to hum the theme myself though ;)

Ha, I was actually thinking of Countdown myself when brainstorming for an idea for this jam. It’s a good implementation, though I would’ve loved to see a bit more polish and juice. Maybe instead of showing all of the possible words, have a bit of a fake “possible words were X and Y”, mimicking the show, or some more celebrations, animations, and sound to put everything together. Still, amazing effort.

Oh fun! I was wondering whether someone would have the same idea. I sadly didn't leave much time for myself to fiddle around with the finer details and polish, but thank you for the suggestions! I would definitely want to shine it up a bit eventually.

Liked the UI desing and how clean it felt. I only got 2 minigames though. Would have been nice to have more.

Developer

There are only two games, but expanding on those is a nice suggestion, thank you!

What dictionary are you using :)? It missed my "bane". There could be a bit more feedback on whether your answer was accepted or not, but overall well replicated!

It's credited in the description now, thanks for the reminder! I used the smallest size possible to cut down on lag when it loads and parses it for solutions, because right now it already creates a minor lag when you click confirm on the Letters Round. It doesn't include some non-conventional words that are more conventional for us gamers sadly, though I will try to amend that in a possible post-jam update, along with your feedback. Thank you for playing!
