The game loop is perfect. All of the mechanics have multiple purpose. The art and music is also supports the game very well. I really like it :)

How does your game fit the theme?
The hourglass is a countdown that alters game time. You have to manage your sand so it does not run out.

I really like how you’re able to suck up the sand and flip yourself, many games don’t do that and this is a unique feature! I also like this gameplay loop, where you try to maintain yourself while also gaining upgrades over time. However, I wish that the upgrade icons had descriptions of what they do exactly, such as that one luck upgrade.
What an awesome concept, and fantastic execution to match! I really loved all the layered mechanics, which worked excellently together to create a tight gameplay loop. The particle system gives the game more visual oomph and a lot of polish, too!
I really enjoy how you employed all of the interesting mechanics and incorporated them into upgrades, which gives the player more to look forwards to in contrast to simpler games in this genre with predictable damage/movespeed etc. upgrades. The love given to the design board shines through :)
Wow. That was awesome. Really enjoyed this one! The fluid and simple pixel art with the catchy music and the animations and general game felt so juicy and nice. Impressed you made this in that short amount of time! Good job!
Wow, super nice game! I loved the sprites and the gameplay. I thought the red orbs were bad at the beginning lmao. Loved how chaining dashes felt. And did you animate the main character's hands using procedural animation? It looks very nice.
Great game! It was very satisfying playing it, loved the little twist on vampire survivors! Well Done Guys!
An absolute masterclass of game design!! The theme was used very intelligently, and not in a simple way, there was so much depth to it. Every single mechanic had multiple different effects on the gameplay and everything revoled around the hourglass. Every mechanic felt like it was implimented with specific intentions and a lot of thought was put into it. Every move and every desision had it’s risks and rewards. Every single principal of game design was carefully implimented. Well polished, great soundeffects and feedback, depp mechanics, great graphics and the game felt like it was constantly playtested because of how well designed it was.
The game was sooo good I literally feel like I don’t have enough gamedev knowledge to even give my opinion about it. Like I’m out of words to describe how well designed the game was, and only for four days this was INSANE! Definately my favorite game of the gamejam, and it brought my rating standards to a new high!
I will study this game to learn more about game design, and I’m serious when I say that!!
GREAT JOB!!!!!!
The hourglass mechanic is really clever, and I love how controlling the sand also controls the pace of the whole fight. The art, music, and upgrades make this feel surprisingly complete for a jam game. Sometimes enemy bullets were a bit hard for me to read, tho I still had a great time.
Impressive.Really enjoyed the game session. Tue music remind me of the 90's era with game like sonic etc. It's also great how you create something this complete. It's amazing how you managed to put together something so complete in such a short time. I would have liked the cursor to take on a specific shape or indicate when you're targeting an enemy. I think (I hope you win)
This is one of my favourite games here so far. The mechanics work so well together. It already feels like a complete game maybe with some finishing touches like increasing the difficulty and some bosses. I would welcome to have the enemy bullets have different color than their blood but I understand that it can be hard with the limited color pallete. I also love that you can use the sand dust on the ground to deal damage with the vacuum without speeding up time. Got to about 25 minutes with the gunner and very quickly lost with the tank. Úžasná hra!
I loved it! The art and animations are really cool! Lots of great ideas and mechanics that work well together! Plus, there's plenty of content and it's well polished! Congratulations!
Very fun game, What a concept, what an artstyle. GREAT music also.
Very well polished.
One of my favourite submissions in this GAMEJAM!
The ideas here are very nice ad the game has lots of polish. I like how many things deviate this game from vampire survivor type games like with a skill tree upgrade system or needing to hold to shoot, the projectiles for some enemies are very hard to see though but I still had fun.
Wow! This game is so incredibly fleshed out and polished. It feels great to play, lots of upgrade variety, and visually it's awesome. Great tutorialization as well. The pixel art is awesome and the music fits wonderfully. I love that you play as an hourglass and the sand shoot/vacuum and flipping mechanic are so creative. Fantastic job!!!
Looks really fantastic, great work with audio as well. Gameplay has a lot of depth and such a cool concept. Awesome work!
