really cool game! Actual gameplay aside, I liked how swapping to a different piece affected the background movement
As a chess nerd, I really enjoyed this. I had a lot of fun trying to reach high scores. I think it would be interesting to allow the player to capture the other pieces as well and maybe give a bonus of some kind.
Wow man, thanks for the comment
Unique and cool game, really like theme and is a lot of fun!
Wow, thank you bro
This was fun and I like the chess theme!
Thanks bro (:
I enjoyed playing!! Always happy playing a chess game! The only thing I found frustrating is when I made a mistake I wanted to see if there was a restart level option (while keeping the time). I pressed the menu, as it was my only button, then lost all my progress. Also, it would have been nice to have a visual indicator of the moving piece. I know you can figure it out by switching pieces; however, a little visual icon wouldn't help! Very impressive for 5 days of work!
Thanks bro :)
cool soup !
Thanks man (:
This was a nice simple chess game. The cost system component was kind of confusing. But love chess so had to play. Good job!
Thank you very much :)
This was really smooth! The time cost increasing each time you used a piece was great!
Thanks man :)
enjoyed every aspect of this game. Very nice game jam submission
Thank you very much :)
Great game! Has a solid gameplay but wish I could take other pieces out along the way which could reduce the cost for using same pieces, would have added a bit more to the game but overall, has great art and the piece switching mechanic which I like a lot. Fun game!
Thank you brother for the comment and for trying my game :)
Nice game! I only made it to level 20 but not bad for a first try I think. I wasn't sold on the controls at first but I got the hang of it after a few levels.
The mechanic that there is a penalty for using a piece multiple times in a row is great. Forces the player to think about not just how to get the king but how to alternate piece use at the same time!
All thanks brother :)
This was a really easy to understand and cute puzzle game, I really enjoyed the presentation, and how simplistic everything was without really feeling boring. Clever way to balance out the pieces as well, had me thinking ahead. Sick game!
Thanks man :)
Really fun game! Played 30 levels. For further development I would suggest having the ability to capture another pieces of enemy, adding ability for pawn to move by 2 if it is on the start of the board. Overall, really cool concept with great perspective!
Thank you , I appreciate your advice :)
As a chess player, I really enjoyed the game. I especially liked the puzzle aspect. I was a bit confused at first about why you couldn't capture the pawns, but once I figured it out, it made sense. Anyway, great job!
Thanks my Friend (:
very unique, nice work
Thanks my bro :)
Nice game, love the concept! It has a good feel and I had fun for a while. Best score I got was 29 levels. Good work!
Thanks man :)
It's a pretty exciting game, it would make a great time kille
thanks Bro :)
As a chess player, this mechanic feels super original and unique. I cleared 15 levels before the count down reached zero, it's super immersive and enjoyable to find the best pattern in a short amount of time. Super creative and great job!
Thank you brother :)
This game has a lot of potential. One has to weight the option of forcing fast solution or thinking longer to get more time. Only downside was that the pieces were hard to distinguish so for me the best way to find out my option was to cycle through all of them and see the patterns (which were very well implemented).
Thanks, man. I really appreciate that.
LOVE the concept! I think the UI could be a bit bigger or made a bit more readable, but I found myself enjoying this game. Great job!
Consider playing my game as well! Thank you!
Thanks, brother for the comment, and I’ll try your game right now.
