Thank you all for playing and rating my game, I had a blast playing yours!
Let's see how we can improve for GMTK 2027.
The gameplay loop you came up with is addicting as hell, I love it. The little pea animations are cute, the only thing I'd suggest is to make killing those carrots easier in the beginning before making them strong, so that the player can feel powerful from start. That's a creative game you've got there, good job!
The game is hard but the music is such a banger it makes you want to finish it. The only thing I got frustrated with is that the character is heavy to move, and I think making it lighter won't need to change the level design too much, it will just be more rewarding for the player. Love the visuals too, the lighting is beautiful. Anyways, the game is fun to play and addicting, good job!
Finished the game on my 4th try, the level is small but takes a bit of time to figure out how to collect all the keys. The audio and visuals are amazing, but the best thing truly was the level design. The way you interpreted the theme is unique, and perfectly matches with the level design. I love that there isn't a tutorial thing, because the game teaches you what to do by playing, when I first realized I could move and use my dead body was super satisfying, because I learned it myself without any tutorials.
One bug I found was that my dead body went below the ground when I was in the scene with lots of spikes and vines, right below the first drop. So I decided not to die there anymore :D Anyways, this game deserves to have more levels, the puzzles are amazing and aren't too complex. Great job!
Love the visuals and audio, especially that walking sfx is super cute. The mechanic is creative as well, and I like how you introduce new stuff like pistons and teleporters, keeps the game rich. Only thing I suggest is to make the later levels more difficult where player needs to think well before making a move. Great game!
Visuals and audio are amazing, theme interpretation is creative, but I am really really bad at rhythm games. I managed to get to the pig level but it was very difficult for me, still I enjoyed completing the levels, it's a super satisfying feeling when you manage to click everything perfectly, and I love how polished the game is. Great work!
So far, the best puzzle game I've played in this jam. The levels are very well designed, difficulty never gets too hard quickly, I like how you introduce new mechanics gradually and then mix them up in the next levels. The level before the last one was the hardest for me, I literally thought it was impossible to solve, but I locked in and finished it :DD Great work on this one!
Very satisfying game to play, this is the most unique one I've played in this jam. The sound effects are super satisfying, bugs are cute (even though I hate them irl) and this can be turned into a cool idle/clicker game with a cool progression system, you know where you earn money by clicking and then buy stuff that clicks for you. Overall, nice job!
I love the game, watching the battle play out is super addicting. I accidently cheated in your game, when fighting the book boss, my troops weren't getting damaged at all for some reason, and that's how I won, but the previous battles were smooth. The theme interpretation itself is unique, it requires a different kind of thinking (more soldiers must die than survive) to win the game and I love it. Great work!
Great game, love the visuals and the mechanics you came up with. One thing I'd suggest is to add a timer ticking-speed-up sound effect whenever you're opening the map, because I completed the game without knowing that. Another cool feature you could add is dashing with a big cooldown, it'd be cool to dash into the exist with 1 second on the timer. Anyways, the game is enjoyable and addicting, great work!
Visuals are amazing, and the theme interpretation is also creative, one thing I'd suggest is that it'd be better if you could move by holding the button as well, because my fingers got tired after pressing buttons too much, anyways finished the game, it was pretty enjoyable and if you add more variety of random changes, will be even more amazing, great job!
The mechanics are super creative, I love the the level design, nothing is too complicated and I get the ability to count the tiles before making my first move. Finished all the levels, and the only thing I suggest is to make the collectibles and keys differentiated more by color, because sometimes I got confused which was what. Anyways, the puzzles are addicting, great job!
Excellent level design, the theme interpretation is super creative and the difficulty of the puzzles are just right in the sweet spot, it's not too complex and not too easy. I love how you give small tips at the bottom of the screen. I finished the game with 30 total swaps and it's super addicting. Great work on this, I'd love to see this with more levels.
