Ranked from 18 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
Collapsing stars and black holes force the player to finish the level quickly. (While this was the initial idea, in the final game this is noticeable in some levels...)

I played this one after the jam had ended, but man I just gotta say I love love LOVE the atmosphere this one emits. It's so perfect. And the swinging mechanic was a lot of fun!

Personally I'd love a full platforming game that captures the same magic this submission has. Amazing work!

Hey there rank sister/brother :D
Thanks for the kind words! Definitely want to look into if I can't make a bit more out of it :)

I love the sling mechanics, they’re just great. I also like the silly ideas, like being an entity, doing spiderman stuff, and somehow creating black holes as a result. I believe that’s what makes it so fun. Great game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Did not really think about it like that, but now that you point it out it is true xD

I usually bounce off this sort of game (and am bad at it), but I managed to put up some good times here. The swinging aspect feels quite good to me, and I like that the anchors you need to progress turn into ever-expanding hazards when you use them--a nicer expression of the countdown theme than the timer (which times up, coincidentally).

Thanks for the Feedback and Playing! :D

If it weren’t for the shard requirement on some levels, I can definitely see this as a proper speed game, especially thanks to the leaderboards!

I found myself trying to get better times (and got #1 on some even) but I had to reach for those since I also wanted to see what you had for the entire experience.

One thing I would like to point out:

  • If you do plan on making this fully, change the design for each shard. It’s not bad per se, but in terms of accessibility it would be easier to see different shapes at a glance if you plan to keep them white and glowy.

Clever use of the count down theme too, with the black holes being your time limit.

Thanks for the Feedback! :)

I felt like I need the shards to make some levels more interesting, but maybe there are other ways... And yeah, accessibility wise there is for sure still stuff to be done!
Thanks again for playing!

This is such a cool vibe. The aesthetics are out of this world (heh), I adore it. And the swinging mechanics are very tight and well done, definitely a high skill ceiling that I am not that good at but I can see it being something you can really sink your teeth into. The music is so chill and really sells the vibe. I do wish the death/fail sound wasn’t so harsh in comparison! The only real critique I have is the UI could’ve been better, but that’s such a nitpick. The scaling was just pretty small on my monitor for some reason.

Anyway, congrats on this entry, it’s really well done :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Good point with the UI, i have not really tested on different screens, but it is likely that some scaling issues exist there :) And yeah, another mastering pass, making sure the sounds are more coherent would have been smart likely, but oh well xD Again, thanks for playing and the feedback! :D

Amazing game, slighshotting around stars is very satisfying. I had to give up at level 10, the last star was always a bit out of reach :) also really cool art style!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! :D
Yeah, it gets quite hard towards the end xD

the movement is very satisfying altough sometimes i felt a bit lost in the space and was surprised because i died :( But the game is quite addicting and i found myself trying numerous times some levels without giving up ! I also really liked the trail the avatar leaves behind ! The music is very calm i loved it too ! Very nice game ! !

Developer

Thanks for the review :D

Yeah, i think sometimes the bottom death plane is a bit too close (or was the death somewhere else? The stars instantly transforming into black holes can also get you sometimes, which is a bit evil ^^;
Glad you liked it :)

Yes I got killed most often by the black holes haha, i didn't expect them at first, but it is a good (and evil) countdown

The Swinging feels verry good. All in all a nice game!

Developer

Thanks! :D

This game was actually quite addicting, I had  fun spinning around and trying to get each level as fast as I could. It felt alot like a Spiderman speenrunner which I liked alot. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! :D

hard but fun

An entertaining ride! It was nicely put together, though I was a bit lost on where the countdown theme is implemented besides the collectibles but overall a good few minutes of time spent :)

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, have to say, the theme was also stronger in the game I envisioned at the start xD But testing and figuring out what feels good kinda drove me away from it a bit :)
