Very intresting game. Good graphics as well. I played a few games, winning once. I figured mostly everything out besides one thing: how do ship stats impact anything? The serpent doesnt attack the ship unless it kills it, and the ship doesnt fight it either.

Not sure how I did it, but I won! \o/ The rules were confusing at first, and to be honest even after I was more familiar, there were some details that still felt opaque. Why was Jormangandr regaining health, why was it taking that much damage, is it following me, etc… So I relied mostly on intuition, and try to keep distance with the serpent to enhance station’s shield and tenacity, occasionally boosting that with talents. And I’m not sure the math, but suddenly Jormangandr was slayed, hurray! Maybe the game could use more feedback to make more clear why some numbers go up, other go down… But it’s an interesting system! I enjoyed the idea that I was not supposed to slay the monster, but instead had a role of support for others to do the job. At first upgrading myself seemed useless, but since it’s a requisite for upgrading other stations, there was a nice balance between making a station stronger or borrowing some of that strength so that it can be spread elsewhere. Once I got that dynamic, the game was surprisingly not too complex.

It was difficult to figure things out with no tutorial or gradual introduction of mechanics. Had to power through feeling a little overwhelmed, but I did manage eventually. I’m not sure how much luck played a role in me defeating the serpent. The game concept in itself is great, and the mechanics feel nice and deliberate. Love the minimalist art too, and the UI as well. I wish there was audio, but oh well, happens in short jams. I found the connection to the countdown theme a bit tenuous. A cool entry overall, well done!

I like the idea but the game unfortunately lacks a tutorial and  audio...

Really cool vibe with this sci-fi world serpent devouring planets through space. Also, cool talent / stat rolling system - I think I got lucky with either my planets having high stats or getting talents like Leader up to T20 or Weaponry as a starting talent.

Won after figuring out how to play. Decently fun little management game.

I did not really understand how to beat the serpent, maybe a tutorial could be helpful. The game and the UI looks good :)
