How does your game fit the theme?
There is a big countdown after which the ship explodes, also there are smaller countdowns in resources: oxygen being depleted etc.

this was really interesting and feels nice to play with the smooth 2D physics! i honestly didn’t mind the randomness as it added a bit more pressure/chaos to each run
I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
I like this game! The movement feels nice and smooth and intuitive, and I love the sound effects and art. Great stuff overall :)
Thank you for playing :)
I thought this game was very intuitive to play, and I liked how the fuel management complements the physics-based movement. I almost fuel like you could get rid of the overall countdown, because the oxygen count is itself enough of a motivation to explore, but that's a tiny nitpick. Overall, good job!
Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked it :)
Had fun with this! Only suggestion would be a little more guidance on what you actually have to do, but overall great job!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback :)
Interesting game with nice visuals. Piloting the ship feels kinda clunky but mastering it is definitely fun. My only criticism for this game is a lack of any tutorial. You're literally thrown into the game, have 4 different stats, a timer at the corner, and can hear the dev simply saying "gl hf". What are scraps for? Why is there a timer? Are those enemies? What is my objective? Why do I need other crewmates? None of it is explained in the game. I get that maybe it's in the description, but the game should explain itself.
Apologies for a little outburst but for some unknown reason majority of people forget that others play their submissions and don't bother including even a wall of text at the beginning that explains what to do.
All in all the game is fun when you realize what's going on.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your feedback, definitely adding a wall of text to my next game. I usually dislike walls of text, because they keep you from actually playing the game, but I see your point... better to have a wall of text than have no explanation at all. The gameplay didn't explain it that well
I agree that most gamjam entries could do with more of a tutorial but believe me after testing about 20 games I find this one to still be on the easier end :D
I've played games where I've read the detailed description multiple times and still did not figure it out
Nice game! The resources to survive and gets parts I feel like shouldn't be random as the one time I lost was because I couldn't get oxygen when I was searching through a bunch of ships. Also the ship design were cool!
Yep, definitely needs balancing.
The ships weren't made by me, I had to use an asset because I'm not good at art.
Thank you for playing :)
Managed it, woo... Nice one!
nice, like the vibe of being drifting away in a scrapyard with a few resources. And oe of the rare i manage to win !
That's what I was going for :D
Very creative game, I loved it!
Thank you for playing :)
Interesting concept and game; though it was hard to control the ship i did like the idea of frictionless motion (this is space after all). Seem to have trouble finding oxygen, were the ship types spawning resources randomly? I think some background music would have upped the game!
Yep resources were completely random... I thought about adding a pity timer for the oxygen and scraps but didn't want to make the game too easy, because the explosion when you lose was too satisfying :D. The idea was you lose once or twice until you learn the game, so that you can beat it.
Anyways thanks for your feedback :)
I managed to fix my ship and escape before the big disaster! Woohoo! Man, the count down almost got me! I had like 2 seconds left. Fun game! I really enjoyed blasting around and managing my resources.
Thank you for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Enjoyable but i do not understand what is my goal. Can i win or something. I just died and can do nothing to avoid that. Probably need a tutorial
Thank you for playing. The goal is to collect all the scraps and escape before the explosion. The tutorial probaby would have been a good idea.
