After a few rounds killing salads and germs, I'm just gunna say I would NOT consume that burger.
However the gameplay is solid and whole thing has a jovial vibe to it I enjoyed. Good stuff!

Really unique idea for this jam and the game is fun I just think the enemy AI is strange and I was not sure what I had to do for a while.

After your game I just have to wonder why isnt there more games based on the 5 second rule. It feels like such a perfect fit! Goes to show that you have something novel going on here. It was hard to pick up at first, but once I figured out how the game worked, it was fun!

Haha this was fun. I liked the art style and premise. I would have liked if there were more sfx, say when shooting or when getting hit. A tutorial showing what the aim (getting the salads) of the game was at the start would have been nice. Either way though, nice work!

Fun little game! It took me a while to realize the salad were going for the ingredients, because for a while I just thought I had to find them and shoot them before getting overwhelmed by germs. I also tried too hard to shoot the germs.

Once I figured out what was going on, it was super fun! A short tutorial explaining the objective better and an indicator for where the salad is attacking would go a long way!

Cool theme, I like the idea. Could be nice to have indicators to show where salads are as it took me a while to realise there was a top left corner to the map so i didnt realise salads were spawning up there. Fun game though, well done

Took me a while to figure out the goal, I mean, who would've thought I was a burger defending the ingredients from the evil salads?? XD

This was a pretty fun ride, though a little repetitive (I figured you could cheese almost every stage by staying at the bottom and shooting up. Sorry!) Before I cheesed it, it was really cool to balance out your table and floor time to get around the kitchen (especially since you can only kill germs while on the floor yourself).

I stopped at the end of round 7.  I think it'd be more challenging if you had only one ingredient on each table to protect, or if they didn't regenerate between rounds. But it wasn't non-challenging either! I did die a bunch of times while learning the ropes :v

Am I the only one for whom none of the controls worked? The only thing I could do was shoot pickles. Couldn't move or anything. Was this just a me problem? The artwork was nice though, and it's a cool concept. Wish I could've given it a real try.

Rwally creative concept for the game jam, im surprised I haven't seen more 5-second rule entries. I think that it was fun. It could do with some sound effects for shooting and maybe ome indicators to know where the salad bowls are, and the timer for the 5 second rule should be visually displayed somewhere closer to the burger itself so you can both see where you';re going and how much time you have left.
