Really cool game! Loved the art sound and concept!
Yoooo, I am here to share an achievement, I got to floor 22 I think?
(screenshot is from me reaching Area 3)

Feedback:
- Pretty cool, pretty cool overall
- Making a strong build is the main challenge,. My build (not full): at the end of the turn - full hp heal, +6 ammo, +10 turn if at least 1 enemy left, power to make everyone dizzy for 3 turns, and some random ones where I dont lose hp, ammo, turns at a 1/? chance.
- Music and sounds are simple overall, but they add to the minimalistic atmosphere, and (I believe) sounds use random pitch here and there
- I liked the variety of UI and icons
- I didn't like that I HAD to choose something at the end of the floor (likely is required by game design)
Bugs/issues:
- Some ability descriptions have duplicated text like "health health"
- Power to make enemies dizzy for 3 turns includes the turn you use power on which means you only have 2 turns left, I expected 3 turns after they become dizzy, not 2
- I expected turns to decrease any time I move, however they only decreased when there were ENEMIES, which made the description misleading
- Balancing mechanics and making sure your build you were making for last 20 floors doesn't become useless or weak is an issue. You made it quite well, but I am pretty sure at some point you either become THE UNBEATABLE or just die no matter what.
Questions:
- I wonder how you made the audio system / used audio nicely altogether including transitions
really enjoyed this! has a michael-brough-y elegance to the design that I dug a lot, super impressive
Really fun game, the power ups all felt meaningful nicely designed, took me a second to get used to the controls though
Amazing to see that much power-up and different enemy types in a jam game. Well polished game with amazing juice in it. Enjoyed a lot. Congrats!
game is fun to play i loved exploring different weapons and skills and progressing nice work!
This was really creative and extremely impressive for a Jam. Stand proud. You can cook.
Cool idea! Enjoyed the upgrades, all the polish, especially the opening scene transition sprite - nice touch!
fun and polished! Each of the upgrades felt impactful and unique!
Our game has a similar upgrade system. Id love to hear what you think about it if you get the chance!
absolutely loved the music! concept is fun, very polished design of the game!
I sucked at this but had fun. Music was lovely. Perished sfx scared the sh*t of me the first time hehe.
Really enjoyed playing this! You came up with a fun and creative idea, and it’s clear a lot of effort went into making it. The gameplay feels satisfying, and I had a great time from start to finish. Awesome work, and best of luck in the jam!
If you have a moment, I’d really appreciate it if you could check out our game as well, give it a rating, and share any feedback you have. We’d love to hear what you think! 😊 /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4813276
Hello!
Firstly, I absolutely love the pixel art, it is super cute. I also really like the design of this game. It took me a second to understand the turns mechanic but on my third run I didn't have to worry about health, ammo or turns as I was so stacked.
My run had to end midway though, I tried using my "teleport 3 steps" power directly on the stairs to avoid the enemies in between but my game froze and was slowing down my browser somehow. I am sad I wasn't able to reach the end but otherwise I do really like it!
