I think I said this already, but great art and music. The level generation is also really well done! Just skewing the hitboxes in the player's favor (smaller hurtbox for player, larger hitbox for enemies or bullets) would be nice. Also love the orange and blue theming :]
Congratulations on submitting a game!
One thing I wanted was to know why this vampire needed to go down into the dungeon. the motivation allows the player to connect with the art a little deeper when you know the intentions behind the characters.
other than that everything worked great!
Thank you! Story was definitely last on our mind when we barely had time to make a full game lol. If we were to expand it a proper intro would be among the things we'd add.
Very nice pixel art, music, and i like going psycho mode during the last minute. Obviously missing some features, as you've mentioned.
Really cool game! I love the artwork and the vampire vibes :)
The art is really nice!
Character movement felt a bit floaty to me. Also, the very first thing I did was fire a stake into the wall and got excited at the prospect of picking it back up and dealing with a limited supply of them, but alas.
Another vampire game! Really there should be a dedicated roundup just for vampire games!
as an Isaac player, it was really satisfying to play ! I love your team splashscreen too !
This means a lot! Neither of us have design nor played a roguelike, so I'm glad it turned out okay!
