Playing with the reseting position on death was cool. Nice concept!

Really great game although I got stuck on the one with the lava on the roof but maybe im just not that good at platformers

The concept is great! I think if the controls feel a little clunky at times, especially how moving cancels your vertical momentum. Overall great work!

This game fells really good. The sound the alarms make when hit with the hammer is so satisfying. Great work!

Great work! I think the concept is great, and that the art style fits it well. The timing mechanic was cool, and I was able to complete most of the levels without too much difficulty. And using respawning as a puzzle mechanic was a great idea. The two things I'd suggest working on if you were to improve the game are that one, I think the hammer should activate a bit sooner. The delay in the animation makes timing up the hits pretty difficult, especially when falling. And two, on the 9th level, I think touching the lava should just restart the level, not make you respawn in a box and sit there until the time runs out. But great work!

The game is fun, and I think you did a good job with it. It also fits the jam theme really well. Congratulations on your submission!

Tbh, aside from the bad control. I think the other is great

The idea for this game is great! I really struggled with the keybinding for the controls, I kept jumping when I wanted to attack and vice versa but that could also be a me thing! :)

Well done on submitting a game!

I like the concept! Also fun

Why did you have to make level 7 and 9 so hard haha. Game felt really good to play once you get the timing of the swing down and the clocks feel really satisfying to hit. Also really fun once you finally nail a difficult level (but maybe you couldve made it a little bit more forgiving :)

Really cool, I like it. Makes me think of some 8-bit platformers I played as a kid. Nice interpretation of the prompt.

Hi bro , nice game. Pls rate my game also.

Cool concept for a game and fits nicely into the theme. Requiring the player to embrace the lava as a gameplay mechanic was a very neat game design choice. No bugs encountered and audio was well-balanced.

Some critiques:

  • Great effort putting the keybinds on the screen, but the primary controls felt a little awkward to me; unnatural keys and I found them easy to confuse.
  • The attack animation was a little too slow for my liking. Made the levels where timing mattered a little too tricky to master.
  • I think the difficulty (in the countdowns) could have been taken down just a notch for a game jam, as this could prevent people from getting too far into it. I probably wasn't too great either though, haha.
  • I've been in game jams myself so I know how they are haha, but I think having the top of the platforms brighter/more solid and the undersides slightly duller/less opaque could have helped signpost that they could be jumped through; only matters slightly more as movement and traversal are a core gameplay aspect.

Overall though, a really solid effort, congratulations!
