I really like the art style and sound design!

This was a lot of fun! The mirrored perspective really made me think and trying to keep track of the time and make sure im moving both characters at once was really unique. Love the music an sound design. Great work!

Interesting concept and I think it could be something if fleshed out a little. Obviously in such a short time what you have is awesome! Good work!

The concept is great! I think if the controls feel a little clunky at times, especially how moving cancels your vertical momentum. Overall great work!

Super cute, enganging puzzles, unique mechanic, teaching the player through doing rather than reading. This was an excellent experience that I would recommend to all puzzle game enjoyers.

I'm glad someone realized that being unlucky is why you get struck by lightning! I wanted to make it more obvious or put that in the dialogue somehow but ran out of time. That idea was what made us fall in love with the concept. Thanks for playing!!

Thanks for taking the time to play! Making the story was my favorite part. I made the lightning sound at 8am the morning of the jam as I was finishing up the final cutscene, half for convenience, half cause I found it hilarious XD

Thanks!! We were brainstorming and landed on the idea of a gambling game where you try to lose all your money but we couldn’t think of a reason why you would need to until we thought of that and we were laughing our heads off about it. Thanks for taking the time to play!

thank you!! I’ve never played them but I’ll take your word for it haha

Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time out to play! We had a great time making it.

Thank you!!! Malibu really cooked with the music. I appreciate you taking the time to play!

Super cute game. I love the triple nod to the theme! Some of the areas felt a little unfair but I think that's the nature of a game made in 4 days. Great work!

Super cute! I really enjoyed this one. I think a score system or a timer for how long you lasted when you lose would do wonders. I wanna know how well I did at the end! Great work team!

I really like the concept you have. I had a lot of fun making my gun absurdly  powerful to the point that the balls were dying instantly. I think if you added more gun upgrades, different enemies, and maybe a more complex win condition this could really be a full game.   Also a hold to fire option, I went all the way until round 30 and now my wrist hurts from spam clicking lol

Really cool concept about stressfully trying to farm on a timer. I think with some polishing this can become a really fun game. Better controls are a necesity tho.

Really cool concept but I think the gameplay missed the mark for me. I couldnt find the bombs and using 3rd person around tight corners was a little janky. I think with some polishing this can be a very successful game. I see the potential!

Carpal Tunnel simulator. I enjoyed this one. Simple concept, simple game, well executed.

Absolute fever dream of a game. Very squirrel stapler-esque. Audio does a great job of making you feel sufficiently creeped out. Great work!

"One more game before bed" The game in question:

This game makes me want to be a better person. To live a better life. Thank you for this.

I really like the concept and the art is nice. I think if the bombs were more clear on when they are about to explode it would make it  easier and more fun. That way you can hold it and throw it at the right time better. Overall great work!

Super cute!! I made it all the way to the end. The controls were a little imprecise but I can imagine this concept working perfectly on an old style arcade machine. Really impressive work for your first game ever! I think you have a future in game development!

Beautiful art style, fun gameplay, interesting concept, felt like I was playing spelunky mixed with minesweeper. Amazing game!!

Quick, simple, hilarious, music and lyrics are top notch. 10/10

Super cute artstyle and sound design. I was sad when there weren't more levels. I just started getting the hang of the mechanic. Great job overall! I had a lot of fun with this one!

Lowkey harder than dark souls. Took me like 8 times to beat the chomper. Opening cutscene was cinema. 10/10 would recommend.

When playtesting I kept winning at the minimum luck and yelled "WHY DO I KEEP WINNING?!" and thats when I realized we hit the mark with that concept XD

This was super fun even on my very laggy laptop haha! I enjoyed spamming the slide button to move faster and the slide jump mechanic felt very smooth. I do wish the enemies bullets didn't block your own. I felt turned away from trying to fight them cause it was frustrating shooting a shot and having it be blocked. I think it would be much more run and gun that way. Overall great work team! Would love to see this become a full release!

I love the art style, espcially the goofy running of the character and how he moves his hands around while doing tasks. I think the days are a bit long with not enough variety in your tasks (especially cause I got told to organize the filing cabinet and called a minion 4 times in a row). Overall great work! I definitely felt some urgency to complete my tasks and I love the little tidbits of dialogue!

I'm so glad you liked it! By the end we realized that we had made more cutscene than gameplay so I'm glad that part hit the mark for you!

I'm so glad you liked it! I designed the story and dialogue and I had a ton of fun. Especially with the whistle and thump sound effect that I made at 4am the morning of the jam lol.

Thank you!!! We fell in love with the idea of doing unlucky things to make you lose your money and ran with it. We had big dreams of making each game different with minigames and choosing bet sizes and such but unfortunately Goose (the main programmer and only one with a CS degree) has a full time job and couldn't put in as much time as we hoped.  I'm so glad you liked it! I had a ton of fun making it.

Thank you so much! This was our first game jam and it was a ton of fun. I wrote the cutscenes and my brother Malibu made the character sprites. I also wanted text boxes to change with player input but we were scrambling to fix the major issues and unfortunately that got swept under the rug. I'm glad you liked the narrative! That was my favorite part to make.

Yeah we wanted it to be faster too. Unfortunately we used the same dialogue script for both the casino game dialogue and the cutscenes so making it faster would mess up the cutscenes. With less than an hour left in the jam when we figured it out we decided there were more important things to fix lol.

That’s me! I made that sound effect at 8am the day of the jam while I was trying to finalize the cutscene.

I really like the concept of a puzzle/platformer with a soft restriction on the player's vision. It gives the sense that your sight is a limited resource that you need to be careful with and also forcing the player to do some blind movement. Really great work!

This is a fun speed platformer. I like the design of the first few levels and how you teach the player about the arrows through trial and error rather than just saying it. For game jam purposes having no checkpoints was a bit frustrating because I didn't want to play through each level again but memorizing the whole course is a fun challenge for an actual game. Also it took me too long to realize that you could sprint so a quick movement tutorial/UI would be helpful. Overall excellent work for your first jam! I really liked it!

Interesting take on the boxing dracula idea I've seen around. My computer was a little slow to handle the visuals but overall I had fun.

Interesting concept and well done for under 24 hours. Good work!

I love the eyes of the player and how he looks where he's moving. I think some kind of map or arrow pointing to where you need to go would have done wonders. Overall I can see the vision. Good work!

What a charming little game. Definitely something I can imagine myself playing on my phone. Cute visuals and sound design. Great work!
