How does your game fit the theme?
The Cycles (Admissions per day for the people entering through Post 4) count down with each admission the player makes. If they have 0 Cycles left the rest of the line will have to stay outside. The countdown is the lives that can be saved that day.

Very grateful to everyone who reviewed my game! Also huge thank you for all the great feedback!

I’m working on a full version for this game with some very big twists and additions. It will keep the narrative spine but I am heavily reworking and changing the things around it. If you’d like to follow my progress please join the discord :)

Coll paper please style game! the setting was really interesting and the narrative interaction was not given. had a blast! the heavy door with the slit is really similar to our entry ahah

Nice Papers, Please inspired game! The narrative you crafted around it was very creative and compelling. I felt bad about accidentally turning down a valid person, leaving her daughter to fend for herself. Good times.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! And sorry as well for making you do that.

If you’d want to follow the full version development feel free to join the discord :D

Hello from Discord! I've been waiting for so long for someone to make a "Papers, Please" style game, and now you've done it - I really enjoyed it! By adding more mechanics, you can make it a worthy successor to the original. Great job, I'm delighted! If you are interested, rate our game - it would be great to know your opinion.

Developer

Thank you so much! I’ll make sure to post regular updates for the full version on the discord.

Means a lot to me and happy you enjoyed it!

I will make sure to check out your game as well! Feel free to post it on the discord if you haven’t already :)

OMGGGG I got goosebumped when I play your game. Are you gonna update a new version or a full version after the jam? I'm down for it!!

Developer

Thank you soo much! Glad you enjoyed it and also joined the discord to follow the development of the full game :)

Really enjoyed this ! The atmosphere is excellent and the writing is engaging. I clearly felt the paper please vibe, but it has its own identity and feels incredibly polished for a game jam. Great work, and good luck with the full version !! I will definitely keep an eye on it

Developer

Thank you so much! :) Happy you joined the discord!

Very engaging, I was hooked honestly. Very papers please (but you already knew that), it was so smart of you to make a whole game out of just a single scene - scope wise - and it worked really well. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Glad to hear that :) I’ve started working on a full release if you’d like to follow it feel free to join my discord

I’ve checked out your game as well and it is sooo nice! Great work you’ve made! Congratulations on a great entry :)

Takes a lot from Papers Please but a strong entry ^^ nice interpretation of the count down theme and always impressive to see narrative games in jams.

The game that kept me hooked the longest out of all the ones I’ve tried so far. Some of the moral choices are absolutely heartbreaking, and I love the level of polish you put into this. I couldn’t find a flaw even if I really had to try hard. I loved the writing, the sound design, the way everything is presented, and if this doesn’t get to the top spots of the jam, consider me very very mad.

Thanks for trying my game even with no guarantee I’d get around to rating yours! That you trusted a random stranger on the internet says a lot about the person behind this amazing little game. Glad to hear you’re developing a full version too now. I wish you all the success you can get, friend!

Developer

Thank you soo much! I really appreciate your words and support! Glad you liked it and joined the discord to follow the full version :)

Really enjoyed this one! Felt very polished and definitely gave me Papers, Please vibes, but with more focus on testing your moral compass. Being able to actually choose without receiving an auto game over felt right. The writing, art, and atmosphere were really well done! Great work! :)

Thank you so much for the review! Enjoyed watching your stream and I’ll make sure to check out your game as well! :)

Developer

Thank you so much :) I did, great work and keep it up!

Such a great and complete game. I have no Idea how you made this in such a small time frame as your first submission, but good job! The writing is super nice and everything fits into the game, you have to make this a full release.

Developer

Thank you so much! Really means a ton! I’ve been working as a software engineer for over 7 years now and have been modding/prototyping games in my free time, just never fully finished or went public with anything. So I do have my fair share of experience with some things but it was a lot of fun actually participating for once :)

I do want to keep working on this game, if you’d like you could join my discord! I’d love to have you as a playtester and hear your thoughts on the progress :)

Really nice and polished game! It's always interesting to read stories of all sorts of creatures/people. 1 piece of feedback: I didn't understand which pass was valid and which was not when comparing day 47 and day 50+. But that's the only little thing, all the rest felt amazing^^

Developer

Thank you so much for the great feedback!

I will work on making things more clear and refining multiple features after the jam, so I’m always happy to hear some constructive criticism :)
