Good take on the bomb defusal idea! The different wire effects were fun to learn and figuring out the right order of cutting was frantic. Nicely done!

Thank you for your feedback!!

Cool puzzles! Fun to play, and the difficulty ramped up nicely. Took a lot of tries and some seemed impossible at first, but finally defused em all! I really liked the hover tooltip showing the wire effects, was worried I’d be in the manual all day memorizing. The manual was still good to plan, but I wish the timer stopped when I was reading (But the quick retry meant it didn’t matter so much). Some levels it felt I had to just move very fast on which wasn’t as great for a puzzle game, but understanding when defusing a bomb.

Developer

You’re right I should’ve spent more time on playtesting the game, then I’d be able to make more and better levels. Thank you for the feedback!!

Great concept for a puzzle game! I love that even the theme (“Countdown”) is implicit in the mathematical operations of the cables you need to cut. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much for sharing your opinion!!

Pretty cool concept. It effectively combines puzzle-solving with time pressure without causing frustration (I can retry quickly).

Good work!

Developer

That’s good to hear, thank you for the feedback!

I love this concept! Really fun to play. You have to cut the wires in the right order for you to not fail. Very cool game, hopefully you place well in this jam!

Developer

Thank you brother!! I appreciate it!

Simple yet effective concept, fun to play. Polish this game's visuals because it has a great potential!

In my first ever Jam i made a game very similar to this but because I was new to everything it wasnt the best. This is something I would have made it now if I ever got to redo it again. This game requires quick math and im not too good at that but this is great practice (My brain was gonna explode quicker than the bomb). Great concept and has great potential. No bugs, good art, good audio and overall just a really good game. Really fun game!

Developer

Thank you!!! no way you’re new!! your game was too good for someone new :) i’d love to see more gamejam submissions from you in the future!

No this is not my first, this jam is my third. But the first one was really similar. But thank you! It was a great challenge and I hope we both can grow and make much better games in the next years Jam! Not just us but everyone! All were a great challenge and great people with great games.

The vibe is good. Makes it more like a simulator than a puzzle game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

A refreshingly solid game! Great work on this one. Good art, great audio, fun puzzle aspect to bomb defusal. I liked it!

Thank you a lot!! I’m glad you enjoyed!!

I enjoyed the game there was a lot of bomb related games, and I think this one stands out, you kept the scope small and were able to make a polished game.

Developer

Thank you<3!!

This was so fun actually! I really like the puzzle idea you went with, and the difficulty scales up nicely. Good job!

Thanks ;)

Very inventive puzzle game, I had a blast (pun unintended). I wish there were more levels with "simple" wires to combine in different ways, because I felt the difficulty felt high because of the cognitive load at some points instead of the puzzle itself.

Nonetheless, I loved the mechanic: simple and fun

Developer

Thank you!! The feedback really means a lot to me!

Another great "Tick Tock X" game! I had a lot of fun with this one. I wish there were level numbers so I knew how far into the game I was and how many levels were left to play.

Developer

Thank you! Yes a lot of us took the “tick tock x” approach lol. And yes you’re right I actually never thought about adding a level counter, should’ve added one

The game is clean and easy to play. Nice work!

Thank you!!

A genuinely fantastic and very creative puzzle game that really goes all in with the Countdown theme. I felt a good mix of tension while I was trying to figure out how to solve each puzzle. Nicely done!

Thank you <3

imo the introduction of each new wires are a bit too quick so it was quite confusing at first. Aside that the game is really fun!

Developer(+1)

I was worried it would be like that. Probably had to add some other levels in between. Thank you for your feedback!
