i like how minimal the UI is.  very nice chill game

Not the most "out there" idea  but  I'm really impressed that you executed on something so polished in so short a time.

So sick. Won at literally the last second. Great experience.

Earth has been saved! Very nice game. Love the chill music and slow floaty vibes. The sound that plays when clicking the miner button sounds a bit sharp to listen to repeatedly but otherwise everything sounds and looks great. I especially like the lighting effects on sol. ദ്ദി(•ᴗ• )
Played it 3 times. Twice to get a feel for things, and 3rd time to see what happens if losing.

Thank you for your heroic efforts in saving our planet!

That's a cool concept, the UI is clean, I appreciate the creativity, this is one of my favorite games in the jam so far

Developer

Thank you so much!

I enjoyed playing through this, got it right the second go around! My only quibble is that the game over sound effect was really incongruous with the rest or the sound design haha. But otherwise well made!

Really cool game! I feel like it answers really well the question "what if Homeworld was an idle game", would love to see it expanded further

Beautiful UI and sound!

The combination of idle game and countdown works really well. Great vibes, too! Especially with the sound design. All the references were fun, too.

Favorite game of the jam so far! From the theme to the gameplay it was wonderful! Had just a little over 2 minutes left when I finished 😊

Could definitely see this being expanded into a bigger game, whether that just be more variants of the same mode, different goals, difficulties, etc.

Has tons of potential to become a full release! 😊

Developer

Thank you! I really appreciate that, it means a lot!

Hands down my favourite game i tried so far. This was exactly the style of game i love. I thought the theme and flavor was so good, the ambient music fit really well and the visuals were so appealing and crisp. really great job!

Very fun game, and feels well balanced. I was just seconds away from saving earth on my first try!

Nice game, looks very nice. I would have liked to have more requirements for the last goal

Nice game! I could legitimately see this getting expanded to a full psuedo-idle game with more ship types around trying to balance producing resources versus extending time. Ship expedition was a good touch. (Agreed with another comment; visuals are tough on laptop screen, I had to squint quite a bit)

Developer

Text size definitely hasn't scaled right, sorry about that! The scout ships is where I had to cut the most for time, I had way more ideas on how to expand their uses. I really like this idea so I may expand on the game once the jam is over. Thanks!

Enjoyable idle game, the visuals felt the right mix of simple and complex. Text was hard to read on a laptop screen. A little more description of how to play the game would be good for newcomers, even if it was just in the Itch page description.

Developer

Thank you for playing! That's a good idea, I didn't think of adding a tutorial to the description.

Decent visuals, everything fits well together, however storyline is not original, extremely similar to Project Hail Mary.

Submitted(+1)

Given one of the ships is named Hail Mary, that makes sense. (I immediately sent that on a high risk mission, and it didn't return... fitting).

Developer

It's ok, it just went to Rockys home planet instead!

Developer

Absolutely, story was a direction inspiration from both Project Hail Mary and Bobiverse, two of my favourite books! Both the Hail Mary and Heaven 5 are in the game.

Really cool game, the only things are that the font makes some numbers look similar (Like 1 and 7) and some texts are really small and hard to see.

Really cool

Developer(+1)

Yeah font choices were pretty last minute and I didn't test on smaller screen size, I wish I had spent a bit more time dialling in the text size. Thanks for playing!

Cool game, great aesthetics!

Developer

Thank you!

Looks really nice and plays well! Had a hard time understanding what each thing does with no tutorial and no prior idle experience. Text is also tiny for costs so took some time to see.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Text I definitely would have liked more time to get right, I built it all in full screen on a monitor and it doesn't translate well down to smaller screens.
