I love this “2048”-style game. Cool way to incorporate the jam's theme. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for trying the game!!! Yes the 2048 was one of the first game that came to my mind as soon as I heard the theme. There were other ideas too but with time constraint and it being my first ever big Jam so I thought this would be easier to make.

Hope you liked it.

Playing the tutorial first definitely helped a lot with understanding the rules. A fun little puzzle game :)!

Developer

Thank you trying the game and going through the tutorial (T-T), I was thinking the tutorial is too long and most people will skip it. Have to refine it alot though. Thanks once again.

The idea is pretty novel and it feels like it could become a fully fletched small game. I found it difficult to undestrand how the / and - tiles work in relation with the surrounding tiles. Maybe a preview of what will happen would help ! You should deffinitely keep working on this after the jam !

Developer(+1)

I will definetly work on the game after the JAM. It was a fun experience trying to make a game with in 4 days (as my first big game jam). And the / and - tiles was suppose to work by operating smaller number into bigger when dropped inbetween two tiles but the drop area got mixed up and it instead give me some funky results will look into it soon.

Appreciate you trying the game. I loved your game by the way!!

I like the look and feel of the game! I think the gameplay could be a little more polished with previsualizations and such things but, hey, there's only so much time in a jam.

Well done, friend!

Developer

You read my thoughts. One of the features I thought lacking was indeed a small popup of sorts to show that the result of dropping tile would look like but of course there was not much time. But I will be working on it after the JAM and hopefully add most of the features I initially thought of.

Thank you for trying the game.

Very interesting take on a merge game! Took me a sec to get the hang of it but really enjoyed it once I got a feel. Great interpretation of the theme as well, well done!

Developer

Indeed the tutorial part is lacking a lot for now. Hope fully can make it better soon. Thank you for play testing.

Really neat and unique concept! I've never seen something like this before, I really enjoyed playing

Developer(+1)

I appreciate the feedback. I hope to make it into something even more unique hopefully soon ԅ(¯﹃¯ԅ).

Tbh this is such an interesting way to go with the theme. The part of dragging pieces and getting the remainder to queue is so unique and we like that a lot.

Really cool game b( ̄▽ ̄)d

Thank you for playing it. It is not as polished as you guys game but yeah I tried O_O. Thank you once again.

The gameplay loop is super fun and the visuals are super clean! I had a couple issues with dropping the tiles in the correct locations and some of the divisions resulted in funky answers, but overall, the game is really well made and I could definitely see myself losing a few hours to it (especially if it was a mobile game, I'd be playing it everywhere I go XD)

Great job :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for trying out the game. And yes there are quite a few bugs in the gameplay mechanics, but I am planning on expanding it so i will make sure there are as less bug as possible. Making it a mobile game is infact a nice idea, I will have to think about that.

it was fun! i wasn't super sure how the game decided on what gets affected when multiple elements interact with each other though, but i had fun and could definitely see this as an actual game :>

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the detailed feedback. I was going for bigger number affecting the smaller one which I was able to acheive but the drop zone between numbers was probably big affecting another pair instead. Thanks for trying the game. : )

Interesting concept, however I was not able to play it. On the tutorial it asked for a -14 operator but I did not have any clickable elements. The same when I started a new game has I was stuck but started with 211 points.

Yeah, it was my first GMTK Game jam, as a matter of fact my first big game jam i joined so a lot of edge cases for sure. Thank you for trying the game and the feedback.
