This game was full of BUG(s?). Really fun and creative level design. Sometimes the timings were a bit frustrating but managed to beat it in 118 resets. Congrats, its nice especially as a first game! (I also waited for the secret?? ending but nothing happened…)

Developer

Yeah, the real ending is you selecting the countdown to stop it. Although I understand if that’s not very intuitive.

Very creative idea, unfortunately I got stuck (at Stairs, not Pushin and Pullin) so I had to stop playing. I liked being able to kill the enemies too, especially using bombs

Submitted(+1)

Great game!! I really liked the puzzle mechanics, I did get stuck so sadly I stopped playing.

Developer(+2)

pushin and pullin claims another soul 🕊️

Developer(+1)

My level design is immaculate

I must ask if Deltarune chapter 5 was an inspiration, and also if including the lick was intentional in the soundtrack (it was glorious)

This was super fun and juicy!! Game was set up very well and had really good onboarding, got me learning and picking things up super fast. Everything was polished and colorful and animated well - this was a great and funny take on the jam's theme. My eyes are a little bit sensitive so the flashing and shaking was just a little bit too much for my own taste, but that might also just be me (a flashing light warning is always helpful though no matter what).

yes to at least one of your questions

What a crazy clever entry! Really neat mechanic (like a sort-of puzzle version of Watch Dogs), that slowly builds in complexity into something truly special.

Pushin' & Pullin' was where it kicked into gear proper for me; having to start messing with the arrows in a certain order made me feel like a actual genius when I nailed it (and an idiot when I didn't). Styling is equally unique, the palette is so vibrant and the characters so inspired. Really loved this one.

Some great music and I really love how poppy the art looks in the game

i love the developer's commentary, how he taunts you and gets pissed off
the main character has hella aura
and the music is amazing
thank you ptmm team

This game is really great, i have nothing else to say.
The puzzles were satisfying, the art is good, music is nice, the sfx are satisfying and the dialogue is funny too.
10/10 GMTK game, would love to see yall participate next year :)

Developer(+1)

Best of luck to you too pepp2d! Your idea was also really cool and has a lot of potential, you should look into it sometime.

Submitted(+3)

Ok this one's pretty cool. Art is great and real neat concept too. Messing with the objects with left click was real satisfying!

All around fun game! I really liked the combat, and using the environment within combat. The puzzles were also super cool. I don't like most platformers, but I did thourghly enjoy this one (maybe cause I am destroying the platforming lol)
Awesome job! I liked the main characters design as well

Such cool ideas here! You guys  did a very nice job! Congrats!!!

Also what a cool OST, kudos to FlingoXD

Developer(+3)

thanks :)

Oh wow, nice job! Counting game variables down is a very fun interpretation of the theme, and the visuals were very nice too. Congrats!!

Submitted(+3)

Really great work on the visuals! I liked the narrative a lot too. The elevator level was an especially cool application of the concept. I think an expanded version of this would be be very fun!

Submitted(+2)

Very polished game; really enjoyed it. The comments were a very nice touch! Pushin and pullin is a bit tough tho! Keep it up!

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

Pushin and Pullin really is a bit of an issue haha.. I honestly didn’t expect it to be so tough but I guess it’s a testament to how important playtesting is for those kinds of games.

Submitted(+3)

Great and very creative concept, difficult but fun puzzles, funny dialogue, good art and audio!
This is a very fun, well made game, good job :)

Cool idea, fun and very polished
technically not all those numbers made sense to be counting down though

Developer(+1)

I mean.. the developer isn’t very sane either ;D

Submitted(+3)

very polished and overall fun game, the Pushin & Pullin level could definitely use some checkpoints tho

Developer(+2)

the checkpoints were added pretty far into development (i think when level 8 was being made)
i think if we had the idea for a checkpoint earlier it would have been there

Submitted(+4)

Really cool concept! I loved the puzzles too, and the narrator's dialogue.

Submitted(+4)

Super fun! I loved the concept and the mechanics were implemented so creatively :) I'm excited to see what else you all make!

Very well executed and well done coordinating in such short time with such a huge team, very well polished and put together!
