How does your game fit the theme?
Not only the timer counts down, but the user has to count down too, in order to beat the game.

I loved the music in the game and also it was quite challenging!
Feel free to check out mine!

Not bad for a first!  I've never heard of G Develop though, any reason you picked that engine?

Developer

I picked it for being simple, and no-code, as I'm unexpirienced with coding and refused to use AI to do it for me.

very loud no toutorialin game i didnt know how to play and also nice artwork Nice job!

Developer

Yeah, in the first jam I participated in I was intergrating tutorial and it ended up pretty disasterous, so I decided to just tell players what to do trough the description.

Submitted

I managed to beat it!! The only bugs I encountered were that the level wouldn’t load instantly, so I had to refresh the page. I still really enjoyed the game though. Great job!

Developer

Alright, thank you for your feedback!

Man your game is on fire, the BGM is really nice. But it's kinda loud for me, a setting button gonna fix it so don't worry. I highly recommend you to put more SFX when player click on the number, it's will make your game more responsive <3

Developer(+1)

I was thinking about the click SFX, but decided to not implement it, for now. Thanks for playing!

a cool proof of concept, could definitely be expanded but having anything complete for a game jam is an accomplishment in itself, great job!

Developer

Thanks, it was very tricky to make this, but I'm happy you like even this small of a game you got to play :)

A quick little game that works exactly as advertised. I didn't run into any bugs or other issues during my playthrough, except that it took me a few tries to understand what the goal of the game was. A line in the game itself about the goal would have been helpful! I also agree that maybe the buttons could have been bigger and in the middle of the screen. I did enjoy the music and the background art on the levels!

Submitted

Quick little game, I liked the idea. I thought the buttons are too far down the screen and could may be in the middle or something.

Developer(+1)

Alright! I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for playing!

could use a bit more player feedback on action/events (clicking the numbers/ending a level) but overall fun little game and didnt encounter any bugs so solidly made. good work

Submitted

I do like the music. I just wish there were more level/randomized level. The random mode is good because of the more numbers to click.

Submitted

I'm not sure what I was suppose to do at first or how I was losing, could have used more feedback on the transition to game over.

As a previous comment said, a stricter timer might be a nice idea. Maybe even a custom  challenge where you yourself can choose how fast the timer is giving more points the faster you make it. Clearing a level takes you back to the start menu while it might be a better idea to move you to the level select instead. I did play it from start to finish so it definetly kept my attention enough. Another idea could be "boss stages" where a boss has a certain effect on your blocks, maybe having double the blocks or swapping around the blocks with each block you click (having to search more for them in the moment to moment gameplay.)

The music was nice and I think the thing that gave the game most of it's presence. I think there's definetly potential here and would like to see more polish in the future (believe me, I know how hard it is to polish with a limited timeset as this gamejam has reminded me off personally aswell.)

A little buggy (can relate) where it sent me to the main menu after each level and I think it unlocked all the levels even though I hadn't finished all them yet. Simple game and the music was getting me hyped. Random mode seems to be missing numbers (I know you already knew that), but maybe that is a good idea on how you could have expanded it. Countdown with numbers missing, making it harder to find the next number in the countdown.

I think having a simple idea and getting it working is the best approach to game jams and you can always expand the idea with any extra time you have.

Good job!

Developer

Yeah, about the random mode, it was supposed to have a hard mode with 60 tiles, and it should've had a timer, but, I didn't had enough time to put it all in.

Submitted

Oh, that makes sense. I still think a hard mode with gaps would also work since if you think there is a gap but you actually just missed a number you can lose. It's a game jam, so you're never going to have enough time to implement everything.

Submitted

Cute game, also the music is great!

Submitted

Interesting idea, would have liked if there were more stages, or an even stricter timer/more blocks, but not bad.

Developer(+1)

Thanks!

Nice little game!
Agreed with people below - some juice would definitely spice up the game : )

Submitted

Good idea. It can be better if you add some effect when clicking the number or when finished the level

Simple and nice concept, but lithered with bugs (IE Menu Navigation) . No effects applied makes game feel stale

Developer

Yeah, I know, I did my best, I'm pretty new to developing games so this is the best I could currently do with my skills ;)

Felt surprisingly fulfilling for my monkey brain. I wish some numbers were skipped to trip the player up.

Developer

Haha, I'll keep that in mind if I will ever extend the game. Thanks for the review anyway!
