This is such a captivating game! I loved the music and the art and the idea is just really well implemented and a great use of the theme
Really enjoyed this one! Took me a second to understand but once I got the hang of it I had a great time! And I beat Lily's high score (probably could have gone longer but decided to wrap it up once I knew I had the top spot haha). Overall great job!
I had a system and story written for the tutorial (it would've been your parents tossing a bomb back and forth to each other to generate the starting five bucks while explaining the game mechanics) but I messed up the code so fiercely that it went defunct along the way. :(
However I bow my head to your hot potato prowess, may your record hold forever!
Amazing. I really liked the friend-making aspect. I made me want to play ‘just-another-round’
I loved the dialogue! Great job
Really silly game, ended up playing a lot longer than I thought I would :D
Some thoughts:
- The silly dialogue / making friends really kept me going longer, was fun
- Starting hand can get really big in the late game, though you're probably not indended to play for that long...? so uh :P
- IM TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD HAHAHAHAA
You are a menace! My girlfriend who held the record before couldn't believe your score, haha.
My first thought was immediately “hot potato,” and then I noticed that the description mentions it as an inspiration. It’s a fun concept, but in practice the game felt a little too frustrating and somewhat dependent on randomness—or perhaps I didn’t fully understand how to minimize it.
I really liked the unique visual style, and the core idea is definitely interesting. With a bit more refinement, I think it could become much more engaging. Overall, it’s an interesting and promising project.
Yo! Thank you very much for the insight!
I completely agree. I had a more engaging game somewhere along development and fumbled the bag.
HOW COULD SOKO BETRAY ME!! I TRUSTED YOU!!!
And you think you know someone...
