this is so well polished that i’m surprised it doesn’t have more ratings! both the art style and the music/sfx are so unique and stylish, and the clues are well designed. great job!

The art style looks amazing! I love the sudden thud then you accuse the suspect, it gives a lot of stylish flair to this game. The newspapers are by far the hardest part for me due to the time limit. Also not sure if this is a bug but you can drag the papers to the top of the table then look at the suspects. This makes comparing stuff a lot easier. Overall a fun game and I'm glad I found it.

Dragging papers to the top is indeed not a bug, it can really help in some of the more information dense rounds :)

Such a good game, one of the best if not the best I have seen so far in this Jam. A like the art style, the music fits super well and overall a great experience. I think you should make this a full release. Nice work!
That success sting was PERFECT for this--I found myself doing a little dance to it every time. Loved the art and writing, too, especially the news articles. I think on a few rounds I was missing a clue (I'd just get the hair color, or just the fingerprints, and nothing else) and a couple times I got two sets of maps? But most rounds it was a wonderful, satisfying little deduction puzzle. Great work!
A simple game, but surprisingly engaging! The gameplay loop is easy to understand and keeps you wanting to solve just one more case.

Really good submission! The artwork and sound effects are so good, every thing about this game is slick + it feels great to play. My only nitpick is that the clues aren't made equal, for the same level if the rng decides the map narrows it down then you get it instantly but if the important clue is hidden in a newspaper it's way harder. Overall, amazing submission - well done :)
