Tried both ways a few times, in case I was understanding the instructions wrong! I gave it another try a little while later (because I felt like I had to be able to do it lol) and was able to do it once, but I think it's just that the placement required more precision than I was expecting. More than just overlapping the yellow circles haha. Not sure which collision box I was missing? but clearly one of them. Anyway, I hope that's helpful if you keep working on it. This is a really cool project! :)

Thank you for playing! :)

Thank you for playing & for the feedback! The score should be on the last page of the notebook that pops up at the end--I appreciate you letting me know you didn't see it. I'll have to figure out if there's something going wrong there. :)

Thank you! I did have more levels planned but oh boy am I slow at art. So glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for your feedback! And excellent score wow--I absolutely do not remember what scoring system I ended up using and that's way better than I've ever managed haha. The counting UI definitely needs some work, so I really appreciate your suggestions there! All the birds in the game currently are the ones I get on my feeders (sans Mourning Doves, because I ran out of time), but I do love magpies and Canada Jays are nifty little guys. :)

Thanks! Had to share my love for birds :)

Thank you! :)

This was one of my favorite puzzle games in the jam!!! Love shove guy XD

ADORABLE! What a lovely take on countdown. The feathers mechanic creates some really fun puzzles.

That nurse was so creepy!

What a nice little twist! It was somewhat difficult to read the numbers, but I memorized what level each pastry was fairly quickly that it wasn't too big of a deal. Good game!

So many little surprises! :)

Not quite sure if there was a way to slow the hair loss timer and I couldn't tell what the necktie minigame did, but I like the concept and the art of this game a lot!

Interesting game--really cute art, too!

Great concept and theme! The duck is phenomenal. It's a bit of an odd choice to have surprise soul popups--makes most levels require more than one attempt, which is not the most fun thing in a puzzle game.

Starts very simple but oh boy does it get crazy once you layer all those rules! Had a great time.

This collage style is so cool!

Love the art! Great meta time management game. :)

I blew up :(

This was fun! I like the instructions--they made me think they were the last bomb defuser's scribbled notes.

Thank you! :)

Shockingly stressful! The story is great, art is AMAZING, and I like that draw time is only consumed by actually drawing. I did notice some bugs--in case you keep working on this (which I hope you do!): drawing did not stop when mouse button was released and sometimes froze the game entirely (this ended both my plays, unfortunately), and some UI buttons stayed on screen blocking other elements (spend time with Amanda/doomscroll). This is such a good concept. Thank you for sharing this!

9! One of the losses may or may not have been collateral damage from: I forgot clicking shot the gun. The count is appropriately spooky and I loved how limited the sightlines were. I got lost A LOT because all the buildings looked very similar, which may be intentional and a good thing haha. I'm not sure if the villagers' corpses were supposed to disappear, but they did for me. I think leaving them may make this even more interesting (that way when he kills someone, you can find the corpse so you know where he was last). This was a cool game!

This is a cool prototype! I do think that having two action buttons is potentially limiting how unique this could be--it may be more interesting to have one action button, so the player is restricted to either jumping or dashing on each alternating beat (a lot of puzzle ideas come to mind haha). Thanks for sharing!

Very cool thinky game! It does take a while to figure out what to do, but it's really neat once you get into it and I think there's a lot of potential in customizing which moves your character has access to. Great job!

This platformer was a little bit too challenging for me, so I wasn't able to complete it--got to a little past the first yellow flag and kept dying against the spikes--but this is a cute game! I love that she smiles when jumping. That's a great little touch of personality!

Thank you!!!

Thank you! I'm glad you had a good time with it!

These levels were so clever!

Thank you! I just started attempting animation so that's really great to hear!

15 seconds feels LUXURIOUS. This was amazing!

Thanks so much! I will!

Thank you! :)

Thank you!!!

Thank you! I'm glad you got the chance to relax :)

This is cool! I liked the chaos of trying to keep my good tiles off in their good tile corner while clustering the baddies while not letting the good tiles blow each other up. Great colors, too, which made it very readable.

Quite challenging! I feel like this has great bones. Your sprites are fantastic :)

Gonna go play Timer Tiles next!

Really tough to read the text (esp the spell text on the scroll since it's almost the same color), which made it tough to work out what was going on. I'm not entirely sure I played correctly? But I killed some monsters, so something must have been right haha. Overall I think this is a really cool concept. The spellcasting method felt so delightfully wizardy! Your monsters were also fantastic. I think the squishy slime was my favorite. :)

Thank you! I'm glad it was relaxing for you :)

Ohhh got it

Fantastic game! You made this Go variant so so so approachable!
