I haven't thought about the Diamond/Pearl mining system in probably over a decade, but boy was it fun to revisit it in this new form! Some issues kept this from being really fun, though--the mining spots spawned waaaaay too slowly, so most of the time I spent with this was wandering around looking for the spots. I'm not sure if there was a way to get out of the starting area, either, although your screenshots feature other areas and other characters. Great start, though, and congrats on getting it completed!
