How does your game fit the theme?
Everything in the game is either a word play on "count" or "down" or it's Dad-joke levels of stupid. "Take down the Count!" and you're shooting at The Count from Sesame Street.

I loved this game's visual identity! Would give it 6 stars for creativity if I could, I don't think I've ever played a game that felt like this! My best time was 47.18. I also loved all the characters that didn't make it, and that they were still included in the start/end screens.
Thank you so much for the compliments. We were very sad we couldn't get "Down for the Count" (boxing) and "Please Get me Down" (hangman) into the game. We were also going to make a horse racing game where you counted down from 190 by 7. Probably best we didn't do that last one :)
Also, that's a fantastic time! Anything under 50s means you were cookin'... and The Count's RNG was in your favor.
I defused the bomb! Great job working the 'Countdown' theme into the game in so many ways. Also, thank you for the added explanation in the itch.io game description - I was initially confused.
When I first opened the game I was immediately overwhelmed but after playing through it a few times I got the hang of it, super stressful but really rewarding when you win! I like that you can play the minigames while defusing the bomb at the same time, I think that was a really good decision.
Great work!
To be honest, I was stressed and confused. Was it looking obsolete? - yes. Did I enjoy it? - yes
The game was quite nice. The timing was so tight, managed to beat it on my third try, had to really multitask
WHY WAS I SO STRESSED haha I loved the minigames, thought overall it was the perfect timing where it took me a couple tries but not too many :)
Ha ha I was extremely confused at first, but your instructions underneath cleared it all up and this turned into a very fun game. The stress while diffusing the bomb with the timer going was intense.
Very creative! had a great time once i figured out how to play. Didn't win but got close, may try when i have more time! the Goose and Dracula bits felt a bit too out of my control how with long i took
We wondered if anyone would try this strategy, taking your hands off the wheel of the mini game to work on the bomb. I could never handle the multitasking myself but there is a bit of a window with Long Way Down where you can just let the guy fall and work on the bomb while he does.
The Count is also a bit of a jerk at times.. I didn't intend for him to avoid the bullets as well as he does, but here we are. I ended up swearing at him more than the code! :)
I enjoy a good worlds hardest quiz style set of minigames so this was really fun. I didn't initially get the controls right away but once I figured it out it was really enjoyable. The geese's audio was a little piercing but the section didn't last long enough for it to detract too much from the overall experience. Great work!
The first attempt is so overwhelming wow. But I got it in 3! Good job with the theme!
Sheeesh! Finished with .82 seconds left. The instructions helped clear up the purpose of the minigames. For the feather collection one, was I supposed to only collect the big feathers, or was it a combination of small and large ones?
Cool idea, I like the general structure, just wish there was more guidance on the last part of the diffusing
