How does your game fit the theme?
You command a crew of characters, but you only control ONE at a time, and control counts down and auto-rotates to the next one every 5 seconds. Layered on top is the level's own doom clock (a bomb fuse, a rocket launch, a reactor meltdown), and almost every object has its own countdown too: timed doors, burning fuses, crumbling floors, launcher cycles. The puzzle is orchestrating a whole team you can only touch one at a time while several countdowns tick at once. Everything counts down and juggling all of them at once is the whole game.

Interesting puzzles to solve.  It wasn't always immediately clear how items in the level are expected to behave, but I could figure it out with a bit of experimentation.

This one's really cute. It's pretty simple but I actually had a great time figuring the levels out. I actually jumped right in without knowing what to do and luckily figured it out on accident!

One thing I really like was the attention to juice and audio. The little squishes, dust clouds, and satisfying sound effects really go a long way when done correctly.

Well done.

Cool game, the puzzles actually got quite difficult near the end! It's a fun concept to play around with to switch characters.

cool game, the last few puzzles were really difficult even when you knew the answer

So much fun! I love the audio and art and concept

Really fun! Also, the little tilt the characters have when they run is adorable. Great attention to detail!

Clever idea with ever more clever level design. got to level 12

Very fun puzzle platformer, would probably work just as well without the countdown, but that doesn't diminish this entry at all.

It makes very good use of the jam's theme. It's also crazy that you added a level creator.

Very good use of the count down theme. The puzzle design is great

Man, this game is fire! It's a really fun way to design levels like these.

That was pretty fun to play, at first I thought how you would make levels interesting but then I was faced with some good level design. Well done

Really creative and super fun!  Well done on this entry the artwork immediately pulled me in from the cover image and the colorful graphics continued to delight all the way through!  Amazing that there's a level editor and everything.  I had to stop around level 12 but I'll be back to finish them all.  Great game!

I really like the idea of being able to switch between characters.

I just think it’s a shame that the player can manually choose when to switch using a button. I understand the reasoning behind this choice to avoid making the player wait when they no longer need to control a character but it makes the countdown less gripping, as the player never actually has to wait for it to finish

Developer

Yeah I understand what you mean, but the player still loses the remaining time of the big countdown, so they don’t gain an advantage by skipping. Thanks for playing! I love your game aswell!

I really enjoyed playing the game - especially once I noticed you can tab through the characters instead of waiting! I like the vibrancy of the characters against the muted background. Nice sound effects too!

What a great idea for the theme! I can easily see this growing into a full release with different character abilities and more levels. It's really impressive what you managed to accomplish in such a short time! Congratulations!
