Hah, another vampire take on the "count"! Great minds think alike. Anyway, I really like the idea of using spells to help a character on-screen rather than directly controlling them. I couldn't find a ton of use for the spells besides mesmerize, but I think you could totally have something here. Great job, keep it up!
