Ranked from 31 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
Every core system in Number Breaker counts down. Bricks are numbers that must be reduced to zero to break, while every wave has a target score that must also be brought down to zero. Your goal is to build bigger calculations and use them to push both countdowns down as efficiently as possible

Real fun. Nice twist on the original game.

The Balatro-meets-Breakout idea is fantastic, and the CRT presentation feels incredibly polished. I didn't fully understand every scoring symbol or calculation at first, but watching a combo fire off was still super satisfying. The visual and audio feedback really sells it.

Probably the most polished game I've played this game jam.

There's some nice feedback when everything kicks off as planned. Overall look and feel of the game is great. Especially for the short amount of time to work on it. But overall pretty satisfying!

The visual style is absolutly amazing! I loved playing breakout as a kid and this just brought all those memories back

Very cool game!  Some of the expressions weren't super intuitive but I loved the aesthetic!

kinda confusing how the scoring/math symbols worked but it was still fun to try and form combos with the perks given :) also maybe making the text a tiny bit bigger would help because it was a bit hard to see what things said for me :L

This game looks great and feels polished! I like the CRT style. Most of the time I had no idea what was going on with the score, but all of the effects made it really fun!

Gameplay is quite smooth and polished. When ball hits a block, the overall effect comes with combination of visual fx plus audio is very satisfying!! Lovely.

A tutorial to explain every number in right would have been really helpful. Nice work!

The presentation is really good. more descriptions would be a good addition though.

Cool game.   But sometimes I think the wave/level ended, but if seemed like it went through my paddle?  I think it was just the level ending as I got +50 etc.  Really fun though.  Also the cards are a little small so I can't see what I was picking.  Really fun mashup though.

Really impressive production values. Bravo!

It's a bit unclear to me how the different perks all work together and what exactly is happening with all hits and operators, but from a visual perspective and number go up game it feels very satisfying.

Really solid work overall. The visuals are polished and the game has a great feel to it.  The genre mix is interesting too. If I had one suggestion, it'd be adding a tutorial, I was lost for some time. Still it was really fun
