How does your game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme in 2 ways. You play as a cowboy trying to make it home through the desert before nightfall. There is a literal countdown that you need to beat otherwise you lose. The game is also a deck building game where you fill your revolver with different kinds of bullets. You must count down through your chambers as you shoot to form powerful combos.

Great idea with bullet system! Rough balance though does take the fun out of it a bit. Well done anyway!
Adding modifiers directly to the bullets is absolutely genius. Great job!
The core deckbuilding mechanic is very fun, but the tuning of the combat and enemies kinda holds the game back in some ways. Overall still had fun with it, but the snakes feel very powerful, particularly when they are in areas where you must get close to them, and the moving bomb enemies don’t feel great.
Fun twin stick shooter with awesome upgrades! Good stuff!

Wow the shooting is so satisfying. That alone elevates the game so much. Great work! Maybe add some kind of checkpoints? Otherwise really well done, I had lots of fun playing!
I've played around 30 random games so far, and this is definitely the best one I've played! I'm not sure if just having a timer really fits the jam theme, though.

I do wish I respawned at the beginning of the level instead of all the way back to level 1 every time I’d lose because I lost a lot! Made it to like level 4 through trial and error though.
I like the genres combined in this game, but more than anything I like how the revolver was implemented. It is genius. I’ve never quite seen something like it. The gameplay is top notch. Absolutely stellar.
Really great game. I really loved the polished with the little animation and stuff. The deck building mechanic with the bullet is really clever, and already fits the theme quite well. I don't think the timer adds any value to this game (although it serves the theme). Nice music and sound effects btw :)
Good job! I enjoyed playing this. Some feedback/suggestions I have are to increase the movement speed just a bit, as the player feels a bit slow, and to zoom in a bit(might just be me, but I had a bit of trouble seeing everything!).

Exploring this idea in a bigger game would be really fun, especially after all the positive feedback we have gotten! No promises for sure though, we are already in the middle of another project right now (but I could see a full version of this being worked on after that is finished).
