This game was absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. The fact that a clump of tumbleweed could hide the characters was too amusing to me. It was really fun to play!!!
The art really impressed me (absolute cinematic), the game core is really creative and enjoyable! Nice entry!
Incredible concept! Such a fun game. Just a great idea that had me laughing the whole time.
I did eventually stop trying to 100% because it wasn't clear what it was looking for, but you know... it's just a whimsical little game, and worth every minute.
This was Absolute Cinema, and definitely one of the funniest and most creative games in the jam! The greyscale movie scene and the way it synced up with the music was so well done that it never got boring, even after my many failed attempts to get the audience score up. My one piece of feedback is probably just to make the criteria a bit less cryptic (I made it to the credits, but I wasn't quite sure why that run in particular had lead to a 100 critic and 92 audience score since I didn't feel like I had done anything different), but other than that, this was an extremely fun game with an amazing concept, probably one of my favorites in the jam so far. Good work on this submission!
Very funny! I like it a lot!
I don't know how the audience/critics rating work though, but doing random stuff and seeing it in the movie is the real reward! Obligatory: Absolute cinema!
Creative and funny game. I clearly can't appeal to the audience despite spawning 10 tumbleweeds and bouncing all over the place, but the critics loved me.
Very silly and funny but honestly good fun, overall an amazing balancing act of critic and audience, silly and serious, mucking on and stress and western and comedy. Such great control over it all made it genuinely a standout in the jam! And that scene, the greyscale vignette, music and tumbleweed. 'This shovel... is for you. Partner'. Amazing style and absolute cinema L(•_•)⅃
Hilarious, clever, very tasteful camera (blur, B&W, film effects, etc.) Don't think I liked not being able to understand the criteria of completion, especially as more and more tools were added which didn't indicate what exactly to do. I do understand this game is supposed to just be silly, but I wasn't able to roll credits as I was stuck at 100% critic 80% audience with no idea on how to improve! Overall though, I very much enjoyed playing. Great entry :)
Funny game, took me a while to work out what I was doing but I guess that's all part of the fun! I forgot I could jump for the first couple of scene but remembered to make all those amazing scenes! I was on 89% on both critics and viewers and I have no idea how to get the last couple of points so now I'm gonna have to move on 😭
This game was peak with just the premise and first shoot. And then it stacks on abilities and suddenly goes from a 'normal' game about being tumbleweed to a levitating rocket powered weed doing donuts around the cast. Genius game design!
I still haven't nailed down exactly how the two scores are calculated, but reading the review text is brilliant (and accurate to real life lol).
I for one love splitting until I can cosplay as the mars pathfinder landing capsule. 10/10
Thanks for playing my game too!
One of the most creative takes on the theme i have seen so far. I never expected a countdown for a film take that was really fun and unique. The main menu was also very creative and the 3D models looked great. I would have liked to see more scenarios beyond the sheriff one, but overall a great game.
This shows a lot of creativity! Awesome job, man. It is a really unique game for this jam
Man I think y'all made the game jam game of the year. This made me wish we put more tumbleweeds in ours.
I actually had a lot of fun; it was amazing. We shared a few good laughs, and I wish there had been more.
This was amazing. Genuinely laughed at this. I did not expect to have upgrades. Getting a 100% in both categories was a lot of fun. Well done.
This is such a creative game! I especially love watching my tumbleweed movements back in the movie. The reviews were also hilarious. Nice job!
