I was waiting for a jumpscare ngl! Nice work!
I like the clean style, nice use of simple shapes and colors. A good use of the theme, the buzz wire style game feels very tactile. The maze especially was hard since it was a tight fit and the mouse movement didnt feel completely smooth (but this might be an issue on my end). Nice work overall!
A genuinely really creative idea!
My only gripe is how the movement can feel a little delayed and therefore unresponsive. It seems like you're using the delta of the mouse position, meaning if the invisible mouse gets stuck on the bottom of your screen you can no longer move your character downward. Perhaps if you decide to continue working on this game afterward you could play around with just using mouse position or something like that?
Either way, still a really fun game, haven't seen one like this in the jam yet! Great job!
Thank you for your feedback!
Actually the mouse position is locked (if you click on the screen after starting; unfortunately it's not automatic on the web build) and I'm using the mouse movement as input.
I don't know why but sometimes it works well, sometimes it's stiff and delayed. I have no idea why, I guess it's related to how mouse input and physics updates interact in Unity(?)
P.S. your game looks very cool from the screenshots, I'd love to try it but I'm using Linux :(
Nice little arcade game. Managed to get a high score of 53!
A fun idea. Almost always got stuck at the snaking boxes. I think the difficulty could ease in a little at the start maybe :) Thank you!
You're right, when I play it I just go fast and hit the walls one or two times to get the button quickly, but it's not something everyone would think about when first playing.
Thank you for the feedback!
Simple but fun, you got the gameplay just right which is not that easy
Fade in initial sounds - I was on speakers and it woke up PROLY my neighbors XD
Fair enough ahaha, thanks for the feedback
I’m getting irritating stick vibes from this one. Cool!
