Fun platformer, controls are a bit difficult (besides the switched a and d) or the game itself is difficult and the controls are fine, or i am not as good as i think :P.
Graphics, audio and mini story at the beginning are decent.
I think making the game slightly easier probably would increase the fun a lot. Still good game and no problems on the web version.
The story is good and even music but as for controls, I found it bit weird, I don't know if it was on purpose but when pressing A was moving to right but if press D was moving to left, as for selecting I had to press buttons around until I found that Q works as Enter, so that one was bit confusing, it was nice game and even story too though.

This game is really fun by itself
My only complaints would be that the sword controls feel rather unresponsive, attacking with sword in jump takes a lot of control away from the jump, and attacking with sword normally forces you to stop, what is fair, but it gets pretty annoying if you are close to an enemy like the spear guys, but due to the hitbox being small you miss and you cant do anything but get hit. I would suggest (if we could change our games) either making the hitbox bigger or the attack animation shorter and make so that the jump attack give you immunity to contact damage because I killed some enemies with it and sometimes got damaged alongside killing them.
But don't take my feedback negatively, you really did a great job.
I couldn't start the game. I tried clicking the start button and pressing space and enter but nothing happened. Anyway I did not rate the game.
I really dont know how that couldve happened...if you can, please try again later at some point?

Platformer are not my thing, not because I don't like them I'm just very bad at it. Having saying this the game is aligned with theme, but a couple of issues have made my gameplay a bit frustrating at the beginning.
The controls when using wasd are inverted (d goes left, a goes right), though the one on the arrow keys are ok. If not playing full screen, I can't see the full room is not scaling, I need to go fullscreen to see the whole room.
Once I've put the game full screen and used the arrow keys I've finally managed to start playing, which is when my inability to play platformers kicked in, so for the little I've played I guess it has all the platformer basic mechanics in place, the controls feels snappy which is good. So overall good work - but I would put a note in the description about the wasd control being inverted (or is it just me :o ).

I can't really play platformer games, tho its still fun.
