NIce game, really liked how you made the intro sequence.

I am gonna be honest, I could not understand the full poetica of this. But I love poetry even if I can't fully understand it all.

Also the fact this not only mimics gameboy's aesthetics (which fit perfectly) but is indeed made for gameboy and is running on an emulator is something else.

thanks a lot, I would feel honoured.

Cool game

Love the monochromatic artstyle

Fun game and good use of the theme. Gives some flash  game vibes.

Wish i were to give more detailed/constructive feedback but I am feeling rather burnout right now (lol).

Played your game, it is cool and you are more than right to be proud of it.

Here is mine /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4804319

Cool game idea. the controls need a bit of polishing but other than this good job.

Thanks a lot for your appreciation.

good luck with your future projects too.

thanks a lot

I really appreciate that you liked my game, thanks a lot for playing.

But tbh my planning was far from good lol, the project just ended shaping itself like this as I went developing it and thinking of what could work and what I should avoid considering the amount of time I had left. I am just glad the result in the end is something I can be proud of and people are enjoying.

thanks

Thanks a lot for playing

I also had this idea but ended deciding against it because I felt the game was already taking a turn to being harder, and knowing myself and my past game dev experience I tend more to making things harder than they should be... so I didn't want to risk it lol

thanks!

I played your game, it is pretty neat!
If you want to, try out mine, /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4804319

Thanks a lot for playing!

But yeah the enemies that appear when it goes dark are only supposed to deliver your death. My initial idea would be that when time ends you just die, but after that I thought giving players a last chance to avoid that would be neat (by instead making it go dark totally and the ghosts start chasing you). So the idea would be that those enemies are supposed to be avoided or never triggered, but maybe I should have made that more evident.

Neat game! out of theme but that is fair I guess, congrats anyway. Just a bit of feedback, rather specific you may say, but the Midas item is not well designed by what i understood for 2 reasons You should avoid locking quality of Life stuff behind upgrades of this kind, though I understand it is interesting to make you have to click in the coins and make it go more easy later on is nice, but then enters the second problem, satchel renders it completely useless, i didn't get midas, so i don't know if you did something for when you get both, what would solve this problem.  Also could be interesting if there were towers that buffed other towers based on placement, like "adjacent towers shoot 15% quicker" or something like that  and the ability to delete towers to replan the positioning.

Also maybe upgrade towers by stacking them.

oh nice that is peak

Fun fact: this game was forged out of peak in the peak of mount peak.

Neat game! out of theme but that is fair I guess, congrats anyway.

But really great job.

I really appreciate that you liked my game, thanks a lot for playing.

Also yeah I only felt like I really started to cook something good when I made that starting scene with the monologue lol. And the undertale and deltarune DNA is quite visible, both in the start monologue and the fact the idea for the whole game is partly inspired by Jackenstein fight from deltarune.

:Kris_Pirouette:

Yeah lol, i think this has been the main complaint, and it is a very fair one.

Thanks a lot!

:Kris_Pirouette:I played your game btw idk if you have played mine already, if not you should try it if you want

I am really grateful for your appraciation of my game.

Btw you don't actually lose health when you dash into walls (or atleast you were not supposed to... maybe it could be a bug), you just get a knockback and screen shake effect similar to when you take damage (that might have been my fault, I should have made them more distinct to show you are not taking damage since how much damage you take is hard to see some times in the candle HUD).

But you can actually use this dash into the wall knockback to perform a feel skips in the game lol

I got 26196.25 on medium game mode, it was a fun

I would be glad if you played my game /jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4804319

wow... I did never expect i would play anything like this...

Congrats on making this, i am impressed

Very stress inducing game lol, very well made.

This game is really polished, the movement feels really good. Just unfortunate for me it lagged a lot any time i died (taking about 1 minute or so for the game to get back), so it got a bit annoying.

But besides this, it seems like you did a really good job, congrats on your game.

Congrats on your first release!

A skull with a flamethrower is a concept that, naturally, is rad as hell.

Other than this, it is a well polished and fun game, love the use of default godot particles to make fire. Congrats.

thanks a lot for playing my game.

About the brightness... yeah i should have added configuring this as an option in the menu, but lacked the time to do so.

The main gameplay is overally well polished and the level design is good.

the jump is on need of coyote time though, even more regarding the variable speed.

This game taught me a very important lesson.

Growing wheat solve all your sword length related problems.

But now talking for real, this game is a very smooth experience, a nice incremental loop, and well polished animations and gameplay. Good Job.

This game is pretty nice, good job!

Pretty cool game, love topdown adventure games. The controls does feel responsive (attack could probably be made even more responsive though) and the way the map works with the lighting is pretty nice too.

...Though it could use some music

I rated your game and left some feedback, it was really nice.

I would be grateful if you could rate mine, too

/jam/gwueble-jam-2026/rate/4804319

That's rough buddy

...

Very well written game, the gameplay itself has a few bugs, like sometimes when the character was supposed to be resting he jumps out of the platform without me pressing to jump, but that is not really that degrading. The graphics are gorgeous and the music is beautiful too, other than the story itself, pretty emotional.

I am gonna be honest, I never had played this kind of game and i don't feel this is my kind of game... but this was quite fun

Although I was bad at spotting anomalies I managed to get some (even other than the obvious ones lol)

Though tbh the game doesn't feel all that scary, it feels quite cozy actually weirdly enough, but that is not exactly a bad thing. Maybe i just really like the night ambiance of the ship.

But I gotta congratulate you on the graphics, those low poly models are gorgeous, and the candle light really sets a vibe.

yaarrrr captain, you better choose someone better at spotting anomalies next night

When I saw slow burn as the theme my second idea was to make a game centered around darkness where you only have a candle that slowly burns away... though initially the idea was for the vibes of the game to be more "vampire castle" vibes (that idea is still visible in the background to some extent) than what ended up being, this like "nightmarish, quite alien, realm".

I am really glad that you liked it. thanks a lot for playing.
